US Kurdish soldier among the victims of the bombing of Manbij

ARK News: According to reports, on Wednesday 16/1/2019 the occurrence of dead and wounded after an explosion in Manbij City, where US soldiers deployed in the region, while the organization of Da’esh claimed its responsibility for the attack.

A spokesman for the military Council in Manbij Sherwan Darwish wrote on Twitter: "Explosion in the crowded market street in Manbij, initial reports of casualties." While human rights reports said at least 19 people were killed, including four US soldiers.

While the coalition said it had a patrol in Manbij on Wednesday, explaining through the site, "Twitter": "The killing of members of the US forces in an explosion while on a routine patrol in Syria today and among the victims of the blast a Kurdish girl who was working as a translator in the US army in Manbij.

The victim's parents confirmed to the ARK Media Foundation that Ghadir Kawa Talabani was living with them in America.

The father of the martyr Ghadir is Kurds of Kurdistan Region of Iraq and her mother is Syria origin.

The attack comes less than a month after President Donald Trump announced that US troops would withdraw from Syria.
