Haaretz: Donald Trump Finalizing Comprehensive Deal with Syria

ARK News.. The Israeli daily Haaretz reported that U.S. President Donald Trump is putting the final touches on a comprehensive agreement with Syria, centered on security understandings with Israel and Damascus joining the Abraham Accords.

According to the report, the deal — still under final negotiation — is part of a broader American effort to stabilize Syria by integrating it into a regional and security framework, including participation in the international coalition against ISIS and gradual normalization with Israel through U.S.-mediated channels.

The paper noted that the Syrian government, led by President Ahmad al-Sharaa, is seeking the lifting of U.S. and EU sanctions as a precondition for normalization, aiming to attract foreign investment and launch major reconstruction projects.
