Statement by the General Secretariat of the Kurdish National Council

ARK News: At a time when the people of East Euphrates are living with all their national and religious components atmospheres of anxiety and anticipation as a result of the Turkish continuous threats to invade the region, the US president's sudden decision to withdraw the US troops presented there, to increase the concern and create a state of confusion among most observers and those concerned with the Syrian issue in general and the Kurdish areas in eastern Euphrates particularly, thus increasing the complicated of the political and field scene.

The Kurdish National Council is taking Turkish threats seriously, while at the same time rejecting these threats, reminding the world of the size of the dangers and threats and will increase the sufferings and pains of citizens of all affiliations, if Turkey is to implement its promise, and is appealing to the international community and coalition forces to assume their responsibilities to stop these threats and taking what is necessary to prevent their implementation.

The Council also calls upon the sons of the Kurdish people and people, all other components, to cooperate and maintain harmony and civil and social peace, it also calls for the adoption of what drives the unity of the Kurdish attitude and row by renouncing the unilateral decisions affecting the fate of the Kurdish people and its cause and the adoption of prudent policies away from what could expose the region to the dangers of interventions and protect their people from the dangers that facing them, and with the impossibility of a military solution over eight years, the Council stresses the need to activate the political process and speed up the formation of the Constitutional Committee and carry out its tasks as a way to end the crisis and achieve the aspirations of the Syrians with all their components in peace and freedom and democracy and to defeat terrorism and end it.
