Afrin … inspection campaign of Turkish troops to pursue members of the armed factions and Arabs displaced

Turkish forces conducted on Saturday 27/10/2018 a search operation in the mountains surrounding the village of Qurt Qulaq belonging to Shara town to pursue Arab displaced persons and some elements of the armed factions, who were condemned of looting and stealing the olive crop from surrounding fields of the village.

A special source from Shara told ARK News that “Turkish troops conducted an inspection campaign on Saturday 27/10/2018 to pursue Arabs displaced and elements belonging to armed factions in the mountain surrounding the village of Qurt Qulaq belonging to Shara town during their looting and stealing the olive crop from the surrounding fields of the village which owned by villagers, without arresting any one of them.”

The same source added that “after the Turkish troops ended their campaign without a result, the armed elements imposed a security cordon around the village and imposed a curfew on the grounds that terrorist cells entered the village's forests, but in fact they were trying to cover up their theft and looting of the olive harvest in addition to transferring the crop to the olive presses without a check or watch and away from the eyes of the villagers.”

It is noteworthy that the pro-Turkish army factions, which participated in the occupation of the city of Afrin, committed dozens of crimes against the people of the city and its countryside, killing, kidnapping and torture, along with looting and theft, burning agricultural crops and forests, the seizure of property of citizens, and the destruction of monuments and religious.
