ARK News: The Voice of Detainees Organization issued a statement on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the abduction of the leader Bahzad Dorsin the following is the text of the statement:
Despite all the calls, the fate of the leader Bahzad Dorsin remains unknown "six years after the date of his disappearance.
On 24.10.2012, Mr. Bahzad Dorsin born on 30.11.1963, from Derik town of Hasakah province and a member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria was kidnapped by an unknown group (knowing that the forces that were present in the area are the forces of the Syrian regime and PYD militants) and took him to an unknown destination and until today, six years later, his fate is still unknown. "
We, the Voice of Detainees Organization, hold the Syrian regime and its militias in the region the fully responsible for the safety of Bahzad Dorsin and ask them to disclose his fate to return to his family and to release all arbitrarily detainees and forcibly disappeared in their prisons.
