Moscow: "Washington and Brussels are obstructing the supply of food to the world"
ARK News… Director of the Middle East and North Africa Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Alexander Kinchak, announced that Russia will faithfully implement its commitments in the field of food supplies to Africa and the Middle East.
"Despite illegal Western restrictions, Russia has been and will continue to implement the commitments it made in the field of food supplies to Africa and the Middle East," Kinchak said in an interview with Novosti.
At the same time, he added, the full normalization of the situation in this area requires the lifting of all transport and insurance restrictions imposed on Russian exports and the guarantee of free payments.
He continued: "But the Americans and Europeans do not want to do this yet, blocking the supply of the world food market and lowering prices. At the same time, they continue to spread false news in the media that Russia has provoked 'world hunger."
