France condemns attack on Erbil
ARK News... The French embassy, on Thursday, May 9, 2022, condemned the attack that was carried out with a rigged drone on the city of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, calling for cooperation between Erbil and Baghdad to put an end to these attacks.
The French embassy in Iraq said in a statement: "France condemns the drone attack in Erbil and expresses its solidarity with the wounded in the attack."
The embassy called on the regional and federal governments to cooperate closely to put an end to these attacks. Emphasizing: "The Iraqis have the right to live in peace and security."
A booby-trapped drone exploded, on Wednesday, on the Erbil-Salahuddin resort (north of the capital), wounding 3 civilians and damaging a restaurant and a number of civilian cars.
