Al-Party: The PKK attack is a blatant and dangerous attack on the sovereignty of the Kurdistan Region
ARK News… An ambush, on June 5, 2021, set by elements of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the Matina Mountains in the Amedi district of Duhok governorate affected a patrol of the Peshmerga forces during the performance of their national duty, which led to the martyrdom of five Peshmerga and wounding many of them in a flagrant and dangerous attack on the sovereignty and security of the region and an attempt to destabilize it and drag territory to conflicts and side disputes.
We in the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria (Al-Party) while condemning and denouncing this cowardly criminal act, we call on PKK to respect the sovereignty of the Kurdistan Region and not to interfere in its internal affairs under any pretext and not to harm the interests of the people of Kurdistan, its institutions, government, and parliament.
