Sarbast Sabri, director of the Kani Masi border town in the Duhok governorate, said in a statement to BasNews: The Zinari Kista area, within the boundaries of Kani Masi town, is being subjected to the violent ground and air bombardment by Turkey, which is pursuing PKK militants in the area.
Pointing out that "there are more than 40 villages in this strategic area, and as a result of the constant bombardment, the villages are threatened with eviction."
