ARK News… The militant and national figure Muhammad Oski Zakhurani, on Friday, August 21, 2020, departed in Qamishlo in Syrian Kurdistan, at the age of 68.

In a special statement to Rebaz News, the Kurdish writer and poet Musa Zakhorani said that his brother Muhammad Oski Zakhorani, after a conflict with an incurable disease that lasted more than 3 months, died, on Friday, in the city of Qamishlo, and was buried in the "Mahmaqiya" cemetery, east of Qamishlo.

The late Muhammad Zakhurani, a descendant of a national family known for its struggle in serving the Kurdish issue and the Kurdish approach, fought in the ranks of (Al-Party) PDK-S now since its inception in 1957, where the late, since his early youth, fought in the ranks of the Kurdish Left Party and later (Al-Party) as a member and supporter until his departure.

His father, Oski Zakhorani, known to the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the leadership of the PDK-S, worked as a reporter and companion for journalists and doctors during the glorious September Revolution in southern Kurdistan and as a trainer within the Peshmerga forces in the early sixties of the last century, and he was called the illiterate engineer for his experience in planting and dismantling mines as he was called a man of difficult missions.

Since the beginning of the sixties, the family's home in the village of Latifiya has been open to militants and persecuted from the Kurds of Syrian Kurdistan, Turkey, and Iraq by the security services, including all of the late militants (Osman Sabri, Hamid, Jawhar Namiq, Ali Shangali, and members of the European committees that were studying the conditions of the Syrian Kurds).

The militant Muhammad Oski Zakhorani, born in 1952 in the village of Latifiya in the eastern countryside of Qamishlo, he lived with his family in the Assyrian neighborhood, he is married and has 9 children.
