أطلق اليوم 9 تموز 2023 سراح علي نجم خنجر عضو المجلس الفرعي للحزب الديمقراطي الكوردستاني - سوريا بعد عدة أشهر من الاختطاف.
واختطف علي نجم خنجر في الـ28 من كانون الثاني من قبل استخبارات إدارة PYD على طريق قريتي باني شكفتي وكركي حيول بريف مدينة ديرك بكوردستان سوريا.
وكانت أصدرت الأمانة العامة للمجلس الوطني الكوردي في سوريا، بياناً عن انتهاكات وممارسات إدارة PYD بحق ناشطي المجلس الوطني الكوردي في سوريا، أدانت فيه اختطاف مسلحي PYD للناشط علي نجم خنجر عضو الحزب الديمقراطي الكوردستاني- سوريا.

The Kurdish National Council issues a statement on the establishment of an institution to reveal the fate of detainees and missing persons in Syria
ARK News… The Kurdish National Council in Syria issued a statement on the General Assembly's decision to form an institution to reveal the fate of detainees and missing persons held by the regime and other parties to the conflict.
The following is the text of the statement:
In light of the preoccupation of the Arab and regional countries with normalization with the Syrian regime and its return to the Arab League, the General Assembly of the United Nations, on June 29, 2023, surprised the advocates of normalization by establishing an institution, the first of its kind, during the years of the ongoing conflict in Syria for more than a decade, whose aim is to reveal on the fate and whereabouts of all the missing and forcibly disappeared in Syria, and to provide adequate support to the victims and survivors.
The establishment of this institution gives a glimmer of hope to the families of the missing and forcibly disappeared during the conflict, and by its various parties, led by the regime that used enforced disappearance as a weapon to intimidate opponents, and a means to blackmail the families of the victims.
This decision also includes revealing the fate of the rest of the missing and disappeared at the hands of the de facto authorities and their affiliated militias, in various Syrian regions.
The Kurdish National Council in Syria considers the establishment of this international institution an important step in obligating the regime and the de facto authorities in all of the Syrian geography to reveal the fate of the forcibly disappeared, work for their release, and stop arbitrary arrests and enforced disappearances.
It is worth mentioning that there are many Kurdish detainees, whose fate is unknown, by the regime and the de facto authorities in the Kurdish regions.
In this context, the Kurdish National Council considers the decision of the International Court of Justice to be an important step by starting its first steps on June 7, 2023 regarding the lawsuit filed by Canada and the Netherlands against the Syrian regime regarding torture and inhumane treatment in Syrian detention centers and prisons, and its violation of the United Nations Convention against torture.
The Kurdish National Council in Syria thanks all the countries that have stood by the Syrians, and sees these decisions by the international community as positive steps in the right direction to alleviate the suffering of the Syrians, and to provide an appropriate environment for resolving the Syrian crisis in accordance with international resolutions related to its solution, especially Resolution 2254 and with international auspices.

المجلس الوطني الكوردي يصدر بيانا حول إنشاء مؤسسة للكشف عن مصير المعتقلين والمفقودين في سوريا
أصدر المجلس الوطني الكوردي في سوريا بيانا حول قرار الجمعية العمومية بتشكيل مؤسسة للكشف عن مصير المعتقلين والمفقودين لدى النظام وأطراف النزاع الأخرى.
وفيما يلي نص البيان:
في ظل انشغال الدول العربية والإقليمية بالتطبيع مع النظام السوري وعودته إلى الجامعة العربية، فاجأت الجمعية العمومية للأمم المتحدة بتاريخ 29 حزيران 2023، دعاة التطبيع، بإنشاء مؤسسة هي الأولى من نوعها، خلال سنوات الصراع المستمر في سوريا منذ أكثر من عقد من الزمن، هدفها الكشف عن مصير وأماكن وجود جميع المفقودين والمختفين قسرياً في سوريا، وتقديم الدعم الكافي للضحايا والناجين.
إن إنشاء هذه المؤسسة يمنح بصيصاً من الأمل لعائلات المفقودين والمختفين قسراً خلال الصراع، ومن قبل مختلف أطرافه، وعلى رأسهم النظام الذي استخدم الاختفاء القسري كسلاح لترهيب المعارضين، ووسيلة لابتزاز أهالي الضحايا.
كما أن هذا القرار يشمل الكشف عن مصير باقي المفقودين والمختفين على أيدي سلطات الأمر الواقع والميليشيات التابعة لها، وفي مختلف المناطق السورية.
إن المجلس الوطني الكوردي في سوريا يعدُّ إنشاء هذه المؤسسة الدولية خطوةً هامةً في إلزام النظام وسلطات الأمر الواقع على كافة الجغرافيا السورية بالكشف عن مصير المختفين قسرياً، والعمل على إطلاق سراحهم ووقف عمليات الاعتقال التعسفي والإخفاء القسري.
الجدير ذكره أن هناك الكثير من المعتقلين الكورد، مجهولي المصير، لدى النظام، وسلطات الأمر الواقع في المناطق الكوردية.
في هذا السياق يرى المجلس الوطني الكوردي أن قرار محكمة العدل الدولية خطوة هامة ببدء أولى خطواتها في٧ حزيران ٢٠٢٣ بخصوص الدعوى التي قدمتها كلٌّ من كندا وهولندا ضد النظام السوري بخصوص التعذيب والمعاملة اللاإنسانية في المعتقلات والسجون السورية، وخرقه لاتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمناهضة التعذيب.
إن المجلس الوطني الكوردي في سوريا يشكر كلّ الدول التي وقفت إلى جانب السوريين، ويرى في هذه القرارات من قبل المجتمع الدولي أنها خطوات إيجابية في الاتجاه الصحيح لتخفيف معاناة السوريين، وتوفير بيئة ملائمة لحل الأزمة السورية وفق القرارات الدولية الخاصة بحلّها لا سيما القرار ٢٢٥٤ وبرعاية دولية.

ARK News… The Lebanese authorities thwarted an attempt to smuggle dozens of Syrians from northern Lebanon to the European coasts via illegal boats.
The Lebanese Army Command announced, in a statement issued by the Directorate of Orientation, that a patrol of the Intelligence Directorate arrested, on Saturday, in the northern town of Salaata, 5 Syrians for preparing an illegal immigration operation by sea for a number of people.
The army command said that it also stopped 49 Syrians, including women and children, at the Deir Ammar checkpoint in the north, after they were heading to the Batroun area with the intention of illegal immigration by sea to a European country.
The Central News Agency quoted sources as saying that the number of detainees reached 80, revealing that the authorities “were also able to stop two small trucks carrying 100 people in Minieh who were aiming to flee by sea.”

For the second day, the International Coalition forces are returning to a village in Derbasiye
ARK News... The international coalition forces have returned to the village of Siran, east of the city of Derbasiye, in Syrian Kurdistan, for the first time since Turkey and the armed factions took control of the city of Sari Kaniye.
A private source told ARK News that a convoy of the International Coalition forces came yesterday, Saturday 8/7/2023, to the village of "Siran", 10 kilometers east of Derbasiye in Syrian Kurdistan, and stayed for about 4 hours, then left.
The private source added: Today, Sunday9/7/2023, the coalition forces convoy, consisting of 8 armored vehicles and 8 Dushka carriers, returned to the same village again.
This is the first time that a military force affiliated with the international coalition, carrying the American flag, has come to this site after Turkey and the armed factions took control of the city of Serê kaniyê.

لليوم الثاني.. قوات التحالف الدولي تعود للتمركز في إحدى قرى مدينة الدرباسية
آرك نيوز.. عادت قوات التحالف الدولي للتمركز في قرية " سيران " شرقي مدينة الدرباسية بكوردستان سوريا للمرة الأولى منذ سيطرة تركيا والفصائل المسلحة على مدينة سري كانية.
أفاد مصدر خاص لموقع آرك نيوز أن قافلة لقوات التحالف الدولي جاءت يوم أمس السبت 8/ 7 / 2023 إلى قرية " سيران " شرقي مدينة الدرباسية بـ 10 كيلو متر في كوردستان سوريا, ومكثت حوالي 4 ساعات ثم غادرت.
وأضاف المصدر الخاص: عادت اليوم الأحد 9 / 7 / 2023 قافلة قوات التحالف المكونة من 8 مدرعات , و8 حاملات سلاح " دوشكا " إلى القرية نفسها مرة أخرى.
هذه هي المرة الأولى التي تأتي قوة عسكرية تابع للتحالف الدولي, وتحمل العلم الأمريكي إلى هذا الموقع بعد سيطرة تركيا والفصائل المسلحة على مدينة سري كانية.

Nem’at Daoud to ARK reveals the content of ENKS' meeting with US envoy Nicholas Grainger
ARK News… A member of the Presidency of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, on Saturday, July 8, 2023, spoke about the content of the meeting of the Kurdish National Council in Syria and Nicholas Grainger, the American envoy for "northeastern Syria" affairs, in the city of Qamishlo, in Syrian Kurdistan.
Nem’at Daoud, a member of the Presidency of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, said in exclusive statements to ARK: "The meeting was held in the council's office in the city of Qamishlo, and the latest situation and issues related to the Syrian crisis in general were discussed."
Dawood confirmed that "the local conditions in the Kurdish regions were discussed, the suffering that our people go through from water cuts, the deterioration of living conditions, and the motives for migration, in addition to raising the issue of the border crossing."
Dawood explained that "the American envoy reviewed at length the services and aid that are provided to the region in general, and we, in turn, emphasized that the Kurdish regions should have a special share of the aid provided and the need to find a solution to the existing problems."
Nem’at Daoud, a member of the Presidency of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, said at the end of his speech that "the meeting was positive, and the American side expressed its willingness to provide assistance and find appropriate solutions."
