اعتبر الجنرال ماثيو ماكفارلين، قائد قوة المهام المشتركة لعملية "العزم الصلب" في التحالف الدولي ، خلال إيجاز صحفي خاص عبر الإنترنت ، أن مخيم الهول لا يزال مصدر قلق أمني في المنطقة.
ماكفارلين قال: "لا شك في أن مخيم الهول يشكل مصدر قلق أمني مع الوقت، ولو عاينا الظروف السائدة في هذا المخيم، لوجدنا أنه قد يساهم في دعم الأيديولوجية المتطرفة".
وأضاف ، أن الولايات المتحدة تعمل مع الدول الشريكة من أجل تقليص عدد القاطنين في المخيم.

The following is the text of the statement of the Syrian Journalists Association:
An armed group of General Security affiliated with the Democratic Union Party (PYD) detained the journalist and member of the Syrian Journalists Association, Barzan Hussein Liyani, in the town of Ma’bada in Al-Hasaka Governorate, on the evening of Tuesday, August 18, 2023.
According to the information obtained by the Syrian Journalists Association, from sources close to the colleague Barzan Liyani, a masked group of 6 armed persons from the General Security Service raided the workplace of the colleague Barzan in the town of Ma'bada, and assaulted his son and another member of his family by beating and cursing. He was handcuffed and his head covered, and taken to an unknown destination. His place of detention is still unknown as of the date of publishing this statement.
The Syrian Journalists Association condemns the arbitrary detention of journalist Barzan Liyani, knowing that it is the third time that he has been detained on the grounds of his media work by members of the (Democratic) Union Party in northeastern Syria.

The Syrian National Coalition: Aid through the regime represents supplying the killing machine with additional weapons
ARK News… The Syrian National Coalition said in a statement, on Thursday, that "sending humanitarian aid through the Assad regime represents supplying the criminal killing machine with additional weapons."
The statement said: "The Syrian National Coalition is following up on media reports that show that the Assad regime has stolen and buried hundreds of tons of humanitarian aid in the Amrit area in the countryside of Tartous, because it has expired due to long-term storage in the regime's warehouses, and its refusal to distribute it to the people. The coalition notes that the forces of the revolution I have warned on several previous occasions that the Assad regime is stealing humanitarian aid and preventing it from reaching the people."
The Syrian National Coalition affirmed that, "Sending humanitarian aid through the Assad regime represents supplying the criminal killing machine with additional weapons, as the regime prevents this aid from the people and distributes it to the militias and elements who participate with it in killing the Syrian people, and stores it until it spoils in its warehouses."
The National Coalition calls on the international community and the United Nations to deal immediately and seriously with this incident by creating an urgent mechanism to deliver humanitarian aid across the border to the regions of northern Syria, and to bypass the Russian veto, which will lead to an imminent humanitarian catastrophe against millions of civilians.
The National Coalition also called for international supervision over the distribution of aid that reaches the areas controlled by the Assad regime, to ensure that it is not stolen and handed over to the militias.

ترامب: كنا سنصبح أقوى من روسيا والسعودية مجتمعتين ولكن بايدن أوقف الأمر
اعتبر الرئيس الأمريكي السابق أن بلاده ماضية في طريقها للجحيم وأن الدولار يفقد هيمنته "وأنها لن تكون الأقوى بين الجميع"، مشيرا إلى أن هذه القوة موجودة ولكنها تتضاءل تدريجيا.
ولفت دونالد ترامب في مقابلة مع FOX Business إلى أن قوة الولايات المتحدة تضمحل بخصوص عملتها الدولار. "وأنا لا أتحدث فقط عن قيمة عملتنا، أنا أتحدث عن حجم تداول عملتنا في جميع أنحاء العالم".
وبين ترامب أن ما يجري بخصوص الدولار الأمريكي كعملة احتياطية للعالم "أفدح من خسارة أي حرب".
نحن دولة من "العالم الثالث"
وأضاف: "عندما تنظرون إلى مطاراتنا، وإلى بوابات المحطات، وإلى طرقاتنا القذرة وشوارعنا المعطلة وكل شيء آخر، فنحن نبدو وكأننا دولة من دول العالم الثالث".
وأردف قائلا لمضيف الحوار: "لدينا شيء قوي للغاية وهو دولارنا".. "لكن ألقِ نظرة على ما يحدث الآن مع الدول الأخرى التي لا تتعامل به، وأنت تعلم أن الصين تريد استبداله بعملة اليوان، وكان هذا أمرا لا يمكن تصوره معنا. لا يمكن التفكير به. وهو ما كان ليحدث أبدا. بينما في الوقت الحالي تفكر الناس في هذا الأمر".
التضخم سببه أسعار الطاقة
وأرجع الرئيس السابق أسباب التضخم الحاصل في البلاد إلى قطاع الطاقة وقال: "التضخم نتج، في رأيي، بسبب الطاقة، لأنه ضخم للغاية".. "إنه مثل كل شيء ويشمل كل القطاعات الإنتاجية. أنت تصنع الكعك في الأفران والشاحنات تقوم بنقلها، وبغض النظر عما تفعله، فالأمر يتعلق بشكل ملاصق بالطاقة".
وحول قرار إدارة بايدن وقف التنقيب عن النفط، عبر ترامب عن رؤيته لهذا الأمر واصفا وقف عمليات التنقيب عن النفط البرية والبحرية بالأمر المحزن للغاية بالنسبة له.

Completion of a course for developing capabilities and self-empowerment in Domiz camp

أدانت رابطة الصحفيين السوريين في بيان الخميس 17 آب 2023، اختطاف الإعلامي برزان حسين من قبل مسلحي PYD, مطالبة بإطلاق سراحه فورا.

احتجزت مجموعة مسلحة من الأمن العام التابع لحزب الاتحاد الديمقراطي ( PYD)، الصحفي وعضو رابطة الصحفيين السوريين برزان حسين لياني، في بلدة معبدة في محافظة الحسكة، مساء يوم الثلاثاء الواقع في الثامن عشر من آب 2023 .
ووفقاً للمعلومات التي حصلت عليها رابطة الصحفيين السوريين، من مصادر مقربة من الزميل برزان لياني، داهمت مجموعة ملثمة من جهاز الأمن العام مؤلفة من 6 أشخاص مسلحين، مكان عمل الزميل برزان في بلدة معبدة، واعتدت على ابنه وعلى فرد آخر من عائلته بالضرب والشتم، وقامت بتكبيل يديه وتغطية رأسه، واقتادته إلى جهة مجهولة، و لا يزال مكان احتجازه مجهولاً حتى تاريخ نشر هذا البيان.
تدين رابطة الصحفيين السوريين الاحتجاز التعسفي للصحفي برزان لياني، مع العلم أنها المرة الثالثة التي يحتجز بها على خلفية عمله الإعلامي من قبل عناصر تتبع لحزب الاتحاد(الديمقراطي) في شمال شرقي سوريا.
إن الرابطة إذ تطالب بإطلاق سراح الزميل برزان حسين فوراً، وإذ تعبر عن تضامنها الكامل مع عائلته؛ فإنها تناشد في الوقت ذاته كافة الصحفيين والمؤسسات والأجسام الإعلامية، والمنظمات الحقوقية في شمال شرق خاصة وسورية عامة لممارسة الضغط لإطلاق سراحه، والحفاظ على حرية الصحافة وحماية كافة الصحفيين.

Dr. Hakim confirmed that all these issues were discussed in the coalition, and there are serious efforts in the coalition to address all these issues.
Dr. Hakim also listened to the people of Afrin, giving the opportunity to each of the understanding to talk about the suffering of the people of Afrin and their demands.
Their demands can be summarized as follows:

- They talked about the difficulties that the people of Afrin face in all the details, including the continued state of non-delivery of the property of some returnees, which constitutes the core of the problem, in addition to some abuses, as the doctor promised to raise them in the meetings of the Coalition and seek to solve them, and stressed that the Coalition and the Interim Government, through its institutions, are determined to achieve security in Afrin We are ready to receive all documented complaints in order to work to treat them.p
With regard to the availability of life necessities, it was noted that all materials are available such as bread, gasoline, diesel fuel, gas and the rest of the materials, as there is absolutely no shortage of these materials, unlike the rest of the regions in Syria.
