President Barzani opens the 16th session of the Erbil International Fair
ARK News… President Masoud Barzani, today, Wednesday, April 17, 2024, opened the 16th session of the Erbil International Book Fair.
President Barzani toured the exhibition halls, during which he inspected the participating publishing houses. He also chose a number of books for purchase, as President Barzani is known for his intense love for reading and his interest in culture in general.
President Barzani was accompanied at the opening of the exhibition by the head of al Mada Foundation, Fakhri Karim, and a number of ministers and officials.
The 16th session of the Erbil International Book Fair continues until the 27th of this month, with the participation of 300 publishing houses from 22 countries, displaying one million and 500 different books.
In its 16th round, the exhibition reduced the price of books by 50%, and is expected to receive an unprecedented number of visitors.
Erbil International Book Fair receives visitors daily from 10 am to 8 pm.
