The fuel crisis in Qamishlo and Hasakah is burdening citizens
ARK News... Citizens of the cities of Qamishlo and Hasakah in Syrian Kurdistan are suffering from a fuel crisis in addition to the gas crisis after the Suwaidiya gas filling station was subjected to Turkish bombing.
A local source told ARK News, today, January 23, 2024: The fuel crisis, whether gasoline or diesel, has worsened in Qamishlo and Al-Hasakah during the current week, and the number of cars at gas stations that distribute fuel via electronic card has reached 200 cars.
He added, distribution does not take place on a daily basis and there are only three distribution stations, while the rest of the stations do not have diesel or gasoline.
He explained that the price of a home gas cylinder reaches 300,000 Syrian pounds on the black market, or approximately 20 US dollars, and home gas was completely cut off from the cities of Syrian Kurdistan after the Suwaidiya gas filling station was subjected to the Turkish bombing.
