Barzani Headquarters Issues Condolence Message on the Passing of Journalist Halkawt Aziz
ARK News.. The Barzani Headquarters published a message of condolence on Monday, June 8, 2026, following the passing of journalist Halkawt Aziz, expressing its sympathy to the late journalist’s family and to the media and journalism community in the Kurdistan Region.
The statement read:
In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
With profound sorrow and sadness, we have received the news of the passing of journalist Halkawt Aziz.
On this painful occasion, we extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family, relatives, and friends of the late Halkawt Aziz, as well as to all journalists and media professionals across Kurdistan. We share in their grief and mourning during this difficult time.
We pray to Almighty God to grant the deceased His vast mercy and eternal paradise and to bestow patience and comfort upon all those affected by this loss.
Indeed, to God we belong and to Him we shall return.
