In remarks reported by the Saudi Al-Arabiya channel, Bogdanov said, "The refugee issue is a complex issue that requires international effort, adding that it is linked to the economic situation, and the reconstruction of destroyed homes, as well as an international desire.
Mikhail Bogdanov expressed his hope that the return of the Syrian regime to the League of Arab States would contribute to advancing a solution to the Syrian crisis and the return of refugees.
With regard to Russian mediation between Turkey and the Syrian regime, the Russian President's special envoy to the Middle East stated that his country hopes that its efforts will lead to the normalization of relations between the two countries.
