An activist from Derbasiya talks to ARK about their initiative to deliver 100 tanks of water to Hasaka
ARK News… Kurdish activists from the city of Derbasiya in Syrian Kurdistan took an initiative to deliver dozens of tanks of potable drink water to the city of Hasaka.
Activist Viyan Al-Mulla said during her participation in the ARK news bulletin on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, that as a group of young Kurdish men and women in Syrian Kurdistan delivered 100 tanks of drinking water to the city of Hasaka.
The activist added that they received support from local personalities and that they were able to deliver water to a number of city neighborhoods.
Activist Viyan Al-Mulla confirmed that they will undertake similar initiatives in the coming days, serving the people that have been cut off from water for weeks.
Residents in the neighborhoods of Hasaka have suffered from a water cutoff for nearly a month, as activists call for quick solutions to limit the spread of diseases and epidemics, especially in light of the spread of the Corona epidemic.
