Syrian Democratic Forces Abduct Nearly 20 Kurdish Minors in March
ARK News.. The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue their policy of intimidating children, stripping them of their childhood, and forcibly placing them in military training camps within areas under their control. Since the beginning of March, approximately 20 Kurdish minors—both boys and girls—have been abducted.
According to Ark News, militants from the Revolutionary Youth Movement affiliated with the SDF, have abducted 17 minors and one adult woman—just two days before her wedding—from the cities of Hasakah, Kobani, Aleppo, and Tell Abyad (Girê Spî), with the intent of forcibly recruiting them into SDF ranks.
The following is a list of the abducted children:
Kamiran Hamo Ismail – 14 years old, from the village of ‘Arna’ near Kobani.
Farida Khalil Muhammad – 16 years old.
Malak Kawa Abdo – 14 years old.
Hanan Abdulrahman Abdo – 15 years old.
Yazan Jumaa – 11 years old.
Ibrahim Muhammad Al-Sino – 16 years old, from the village of Kharab Ashik near Kobani.
Hussein Sabri Primo – 13 years old.
Maryana Dhafer – 13 years old, abducted from her home in rural Qamishli.
Khunav Abdullah Sheikho – 16 years old, abducted while at school in the Nasra neighborhood of Hasakah.
Nada Youssef Al-Hamdo – 13 years old.
Roussel Muhammad Qawwas – 16 years old.
Newroz Mustafa – 15 years old.
Jandi Muhammad – 13 years old.
Ibrahim Khalil Hamik – 15 years old, from the village of Baghdike, east of Kobani.
Diala Aliko – 15 years old, from Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo.
Rehab Youssef Sheikho – 13 years old, from Kobani.
Sila Dhafer – 12 years old, abducted from her home in rural Qamishli.
Roshen Mustafa Mahmoud Ibrahim – abducted two days before her wedding, from the village of Koberlak near Tell Abyad (Girê Spî).
