The PYD exports the barley crop to the regime-controlled areas and Turkey

ARK News… A source confirmed that the PYD administration opened a tradeline between its regions and the areas controlled by the regime and Turkey, and allowed exporting the barley crop and some other materials to the areas controlled by Turkey and the regime.

A private source told ARK News: Large quantities of barley arrived, on Tuesdayو 25/8/2020, to the areas controlled by the Syrian regime and Turkey through the Umm Jloud crossing in the countryside of Aleppo, after the PYD administration allowed traders to export the barley crop and some other materials from Syrian Kurdistan to the areas controlled by Turkey and the Syrian regime.

The private source added: Most of the merchants who exported the barley crop are affiliated with the PYD administration and are working for it.

Salman Baroudo, the economic official in the PYD Administration, had previously announced ongoing contacts between the PYD administration and the Syrian regime in order to export the surplus wheat crop to the Syrian interior, and he stressed that the PYD administration has no objection to exporting wheat to the Syrian interior if an agreement is reached.
