Duties of the Integration Council:

1. The Integration Council is committed to issues related to immigrants.

2. The Integration Council provides advice to politicians through committees and meetings.

3. Communicating demands and proposals related to foreign communities to decision centers and municipal centers in German cities through their representatives in the council.

4. City councilors and immigrant elected representatives meet regularly.

5. Discussing equal opportunities in all fields.

6. Participation in social life in German cities

7. The integration council can submit proposals to the city council.

8. Inquiry about matters related to the city administration.

* Date of holding elections:

The elections will be held on September 13th, and the Council will elect for a five-year electoral cycle.

Candidate and his/her duties:

Every refugee who is 18 years old is entitled, and he/she must be prepared to attend (5) meetings of the Integration Council every year, and he/she must be ready to participate in the specialized committees and working for specialized groups in these councils.

* How to apply for nominate:

First: To nomination individually without joining lists that include a group of candidates, and in this case when a citizen votes for this candidate, only the candidate will benefit from his vote.

Second: Nominating on a list that includes a group of candidates, and in this case when one of the citizens votes for this list, all members of the list will benefit from this vote, and as the number of votes increases, there will be an opportunity for more than one person to win.

* How to conduct elections:
The number of integration councils seats in each city is formed in proportion to the number of communities.

A 2/3 percentage, i.e. two-thirds of the members of the integration councils, is elected by foreign citizens, whether they obtain residency or citizenship directly through elections.

The ratio of 1/3, i.e. one-third of the members of the integration councils, is determined by appointment by the German parties.

Every person has the right to cast one vote in elections.

* Who is eligible to vote:
-Any foreigner with German residency or citizenship.

-Be 16 years old.

-To be a legal resident of the Federal Republic of Germany for at least one year.

- He must be registered, meaning that he has proven his restrictions in the city council of the city in which he intends to vote in a period not less than 16 days before the election date 13.08.

Note: "Work in the integration council is voluntary work."
