International coalition air defenses shoot down a drone in the Koniko gas field
ARK News… After stopping since the end of last February, Iranian-backed militias have returned to targeting American bases in Syria.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the air defenses of the International Coalition, on Monday, 20/5/2024), shot down in the vicinity of the “Koniko” gas field base in the northern countryside of Deir Ez-Zour, a drone was belonging to groups loyal to the Iranian militias.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, there was no information about material or human losses.
This targeting is considered the first of its kind this month of May, after Iranian-backed groups stopped their activities against American bases in Syria since February 25, under orders from the military leadership of the Iranian militias.
