ARK News… On Monday, 20/5/2024, an administrative delegation from the Asayish Directorate headed Erbil, headed by Brigadier General Hirsh Rash, and members of Brigadier General Luqman Mantak, Brigadier General Farhad Heni, Lieutenant Colonel Ayoub Muhammad, and Lieutenant Colonel Mariwan, visited the Kurdistan Region’s representation of the Kurdish National Council in Syria.

During the meeting, the political situation was discussed in general, and the Kurdish situation in particular, with a focus on the conditions of refugees and the challenges they face in general, and how facilities are provided by the Asayish directorates in the areas of Erbil, its suburbs and in the refugee camps.

Brigadier General Hirsh Rash stressed the importance of coordination, submitting proposals, and working hard to serve refugees and provide all facilities that alleviate their suffering, and that the proposals and observations submitted by the Kurdistan Region’s representation to the Kurdish National Council will be followed up.

The head of the representation, Jadaan Ali, expressed his thanks and gratitude, on behalf of the representation, to the administration of the Asayish Directorate of Erbil for the efforts that they are making in serving the refugees and the facilities that are provided to them, especially since the Kurdistan Region considers “Syrian Kurdish refugees in their second home, on their land, among their families, and not as guests.”

The Kurdistan Region’s representation of the Kurdish National Council held a series of meetings to convey the suffering of Kurdish refugees to the relevant authorities in the Kurdistan Region to find appropriate solutions to contribute to resolving the challenges they face.
