Israeli airstrikes on military targets in Syria
ARK News… Syrian media reported, on Monday evening, that the Syrian air defenses confronted "hostile targets" in the sky of the southwestern countryside of Damascus.
An Israeli military statement said that airstrikes were carried out against military targets in Syria.
Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraei said on Twitter that military aircraft and helicopters launched raids a short time ago on targets belonging to the Syrian regime forces in southern Syria, in response to the operation to plant explosive devices that were foiled yesterday in the southern Golan Heights.
He added that the targets included reconnaissance sites, means of gathering information, in addition to anti-aircraft guns, and command and control mean in bases belonging to the Syrian regime.
