Senator James Risch: Russia Must Be Completely Expelled from Syria
ARK News.. U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman James Risch has warned against the continued Russian military presence in Syria, calling for Moscow's full expulsion from the country. He argued that Russia’s presence could pave the way for a renewed Iranian foothold in the region.
Speaking during a panel discussion at the Hudson Institute, the Republican senator stressed that "the region cannot afford to allow Moscow access to the Mediterranean Sea to threaten the United States, NATO, or our allies."
Senator Risch went on to say that Russia and Iran "have been partners in the atrocities" committed by the ousted regime of former President Bashar al-Assad.
“If we allow Russia to remain in Syria,” Risch warned, “the country will become a backdoor for Iran’s return—it’s only a matter of time.”

As we welcome the blessed Eid al-Adha, we extend our sincerest congratulations and best wishes to all Muslims in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and around the world. I especially congratulate the brave Peshmerga forces, members of the internal security forces, and the families of our revered martyrs and victims of the Anfal campaign, wishing everyone a joyful and peaceful Eid filled with safety and reassurance.
It is deeply regrettable and concerning that this year’s Eid arrives amid difficult financial circumstances, caused by the collective punishment imposed by the federal government on the citizens of the Kurdistan Region. Nonetheless, we assure our people that the Kurdistan Regional Government will spare no effort in overcoming this situation and ending the unjust measures that have affected the rights of public servants and salary recipients in the Region.

In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
On the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Muslims of Kurdistan, Iraq, and the entire world. In particular, I offer my greetings to the families of our noble martyrs, the heroic Peshmerga forces, and the beloved people of Kurdistan.
We welcome this sacred holiday at a time when the salaries and rightful entitlements of the Kurdistan Region’s people are being unjustly and oppressively withheld by the authorities in Baghdad. This policy of collective economic punishment is no less grave than the Anfal campaigns, chemical bombardments, and acts of genocide committed by the former regime against our people. Yet, the will of the Kurdish people remains stronger and more resilient than any form of injustice, atrocity, or oppression.
To those who oppose the Kurdistan Region and its people, I urge you to look back at history and draw its lessons. The Kurdish people have stood firm in the face of all forms of tyranny and pressure, and have triumphed over aggressors and criminals. In the end, it is always the oppressors who are left in regret.
On this blessed occasion, I express my deep gratitude and appreciation for the steadfastness, dignity, and resilience of every member of our nation. فيما يلي نص الرسالة:
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
بمناسبة حلول عيد الأضحى المبارك، أوجّه أحر التهاني والتبريكات إلى مسلمي كوردستان والعراق والعالم أجمع. وأخصّ بالتهنئة عوائل الشهداء الأبرار، والبيشمركة الأبطال، ومواطني كوردستان الأعزاء.
نستقبل هذا العيد المبارك في وقتٍ تُقطَع فيه رواتبُ ومستحقات شعب إقليم كوردستان بقرار جائر وظالم من سلطات بغداد. إن قطع الرواتب وسياسة التجويع الجماعي ضد شعب كوردستان لا تقل فداحةً عن حملات الأنفال والقصف الكيمياوي والإبادة الجماعية التي ارتكبها النظام السابق ضد شعب كوردستان. لكن إرادة شعب كوردستان أقوى وأسمى من أي ظلم وجُرم وأنفال.
فلينظر من يعادون إقليم كوردستان وشعبه إلى التاريخ ويستخلصوا منه العِبَر، لقد قاوم شعب كوردستان بصمود وشجاعة أمام كل أنواع الضغوط والاستبداد، وحقق النصر على المعتدين والمجرمين، وكان الندم من نصيب الطغاة.
في هذه المناسبة المباركة، أعبّر عن خالص امتناني وشكري لصمود وثبات وشموخ كل فرد من أبناء شعبنا، وأسأل الله تعالى أن يمنّ على كوردستان والعراق بالخير والطمأنينة، وعلى منطقتنا والعالم أجمع بالسلام والاستقرار.

القوات الإسرائيلية تنفذ عملية عسكرية في ريف القنيطرة
منذ سقوط نظام بشار الأسد في 8 كانون الأول 2024، والقوات الإسرائيلية تنفذ عملية داخل الأراضي السورية.
قال المرصد السوري لحقوق الإنسان إن القوات الإسرائيلية نفذت اليوم الخميس 5 حزيران 2025، عملية جديدة دخلت خلالها قوة مؤلفة من 7 آليات عسكرية إلى أطراف قرية مجدوليا في في ريف القنيطرة الأوسط.
وأضاف المصدر أن هذه العملية تأتي في إطار سلسلة من التحركات المتكررة التي تشهدها المنطقة خلال الفترة الأخيرة، وسط توتر يسود الشريط الحدودي دون تسجيل مواجهات مباشرة حتى الآن.

سوريا.. تسجيل عدة عمليات تصفية خلال 4 أيام
أفاد مصدر حقوقي سوري أن عدة مناطق سورية سجلت خلال الأيام الأربعة الماضية تصاعداً خطيراً في عمليات التصفية والقتل الانتقامي، طالت مدنيين غالبيتهم لأسباب طائفية، إلى جانب عمليات استهدفت عسكريين سابقين.
قال المرصد السوري لحقوق الإنسان اليوم الخميس 5 حزيران 2025، إنه تم تسجيل 12 عملية تصفية خلال 4 أيام فقط، راح ضحيتها 26 شخصًا، توزعت على النحو التالي:
ـ ريف دمشق: عملية تصفية واحدة أسفرت عن مقتل مدني.
ـ حماة: 7 عمليات أسفرت عن مقتل 14 شخصاً بينهم طفلة، 8 منهم قضوا بدوافع طائفية.
ـ حلب: عملية واحدة أسفرت عن مقتل مدني (بدافع طائفي).
ـ حمص: عملية واحدة أسفرت عن مقتل مدني (بدافع طائفي).
ـ درعا: عملية واحدة أسفرت عن مقتل 4 أشخاص، بينهم طفل وعسكري سابق.
ـ دمشق: عملية واحدة أسفرت عن مقتل 5 أشخاص (جميعهم بدوافع طائفية).

جيمس ريش: يجب طرد روسيا بشكل كامل من سوريا
حذّر رئيس لجنة العلاقات الخارجية في مجلس الشيوخ الأميركي، من استمرار الوجود العسكري الروسي في سوريا، داعياً إلى طرد موسكو بشكل كامل من البلاد، معتبراً أن بقاءها سيفتح الطريق أمام عودة النفوذ الإيراني مجدداً.
في كلمة ألقاها خلال جلسة نقاش في معهد "هدسون للأبحاث"، شدّد السيناتور الجمهوري جيمس ريش، على أن "المنطقة لا تستطيع تحمّل وصول موسكو إلى مياه البحر المتوسط لتهديد الولايات المتحدة أو الناتو أو حلفائنا".
وأضاف السيناتور الجمهوري، أن روسيا وإيران "كانتا شريكتين في الفظائع" التي ارتكبها نظام الرئيس المخلوع، بشار الأسد.
موضحا أنه "إذا سمحنا لروسيا بالبقاء في سوريا، فستتحوّل البلاد إلى بوابة خلفية لعودة إيران"، و "الأمر مجرد مسألة وقت".
