Statement by the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government on the ninth anniversary of the genocide in Shingal
ARK News… The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, Today, Thursday, August 3, 2023, issued a statement on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the genocide committed by ISIS terrorists against the Yezidis in and around Sinjar, stressing the need to implement the Sinjar Agreement in order to rebuild and return the displaced to their homes.
The following is the text of the statement:
Nine years ago, Sinjar and its environs were subjected to a brutal attack by ISIS terrorists, which resulted in the extermination, loss and displacement of thousands of the region's residents.
On this painful memory, we pay tribute to all the victims of this genocide, and we also highly appreciate the steadfastness and sacrifices of the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces, led by His Excellency President Masoud Barzani, who destroyed and defeated with their own hands the legend of ISIS terrorists, and liberated Sinjar, thus marking a historical epic.
While we commend all countries that have officially recognized the crimes of ISIS terrorists against the Yezidi Kurds and classified them as genocide, we look forward to the role of the international community in supporting us in alleviating the pain and suffering of our Yezidi sisters and brothers.
What is regrettable here is that, nine years after the tragedy, the conditions in Sinjar have not yet been normalized, while our Yezidi sisters and brothers are unable to return to their homes, in addition to the disruption of the reconstruction process as a result of the illegal militias and armed groups taking control of the region.
As we renew, on this occasion, our support for the legitimate demands of our Yezidi sisters and brothers with the necessity of ending the abnormal situation in the city, we affirm the implementation of the Sinjar Agreement, including the removal of illegal forces in order to rebuild the region with the assistance of the federal government and the international community, and to restore the reins her authority to her original people.
We bow in respect and veneration to the martyrs of the genocide in Sinjar and all the martyrs of Kurdistan.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria holds an organizational and political seminar in Bahirka town of Erbil Governorate

انتشلت خفر السواحل التركية عشرات المهاجرين غير النظاميين من المياه الإقليمية التركية قبالة شواطي ولاية إزمير غربي تركيا.
أعلن خفر السواحل التركي انتشال " 58 " مهاجرًا غير نظامي من المياه الإقليمية التركية قبالة شواطي ولاية إزمير, بالإضافة لضبط " 35 " مهاجرا غير نظامي قبالة سواحل ديكيلي بولاية إزمير.
وأضاف خفر السواحل التركية أن المهاجرين الذين تم انتشالهم قبالة سواحل ولاية إزمير دفعتهم القوات اليونانية نحو المياه الإقليمية التركية.

د. كاوا آزيزي: السبب الرئيسي لمأساة الكورد في كوردستان سوريا هو وجود P*K*K
أكد أكاديمي كوردي سوري ، أن سكان كوردستان سوريا يدفعون ثمن صراع حزب العمال الكوردستاني PKK وتركيا في شمال سوريا، وأن انقطاع المياه عن أكثر من مليون نسمة في الحسكة يعد جريمة وخرقاً لابسط مبادئ حقوق الانسان.
قال الأكاديمي الكوردي الدكتور كاوا آزيزي: إن مأساة انقطاع المياه عن مدينة الحسكة تعتبر خرقا لأبسط مبادئ حقوق الإنسان ، وتعطيش مليون شخص في هذا الصيف الحار يعد جريمة , ويعرض المنطقة لأوبئة وأمراض خطيرة.
وأضاف آزيزي أن انقطاع المياه عن سكان الحسكة يعود لأسباب سياسية, وتعتبر عاملا قويا لدفع الناس نحو الهجرة إضافة الى أن ذلك يعد من أهم عوامل عدم الاستقرار في المنطقة.
وأكد الأكاديمي الكوردي ، أن سبب مأساة الكورد في كوردستان سوريا هو وجود PKK, حيث أصبح كورد سوريا ضحية لنزاع خارجي بين الحزب و تركيا.

In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful
Unfortunately, nine years have passed since the tragedy of Sinjar, and the wounds of Sinjar have not yet healed. Rather, the suffering and the displacement of the Yezidi sisters and brothers continued.
The agreement between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government in Iraq to normalize the situation in Sinjar and the return of the displaced is the best solution to end the grief and suffering of the people of Sinjar. However, the question that imposes itself; Why was the Iraqi government unable to implement the agreement to normalize the situation in Sinjar, and for how long will the Iraqi government allow those forces and parties to prevent the implementation of the Sinjar agreement?
On this occasion, the people of Kurdistan are waiting for the international community and other countries also to officially recognize the genocide of the Yazidis that took place at the hands of ISIS, as Germany and Britain did, as well as to officially recognize the chemical attack, Anfal and all other crimes committed against the Kurdish people.
On the ninth anniversary of the Sinjar tragedy, we salute the souls of the martyrs and all the victims of this crime, and we highly appreciate the role of the Kurdish Peshmerga forces, who recorded the most wonderful heroism in history, sacrificed their pure blood to liberate Mount Sinjar and Sinjar, and took revenge on the terrorists of ISIS.

Kurdish families return to their hometown in Afrin and its environs
ARK News… A Kurdish family has returned to their hometown in Bulbul town in Afrin, Syrian Kurdistan, according to a source reported, on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.
An informed source from the town said that a Kurdish family has returned to the village of Qastal Khidriya, and last July the town witnessed the return of a number of families in the village of Za’re and other villages.
A Kurdish activist in the city of Afrin, who preferred not to be named for security reasons, mentioned that dozens of Kurdish families had recently returned to their hometowns.
He pointed out that the returnees are among the displaced in the camps of al-Shahba and Aleppo, refugees in Turkey, Lebanon and the Kurdistan Region, or displaced persons in other regions.
Despite the violations taking place in the region, the campaign for the return of the displaced, and refugees of Afrin to their city and villages continues, but they are facing difficulties in recovering their property and money, due to the seizure of the armed factions and the displaced Arabs.
Politicians and observers call for the need for the displaced and refugees to return to their homes in order to prevent any demographic change in the Kurdish regions, especially in Afrin, Serê kaniyê and Girê Spî.

Nechirvan Barzani congratulates the Yezidi Kurds on the Fortieth Summer Day
ARK News… The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, On Wednesday, August 2, 2023, congratulated the Yazidi Kurds in Kurdistan, Iraq and all over the world on the occasion of the Fortieth Summer Day, wishing them lasting peace and prosperity.
This year's holiday coincides with the anniversary of the genocide of the Yezidis at the hands of the terrorist organization of Da'esh. On this occasion, the head of the region said, "We remember all the victims with respect and dignity."
Barzani added, "Our hearts are with their families and all the Yazidi brothers and sisters who are still suffering from the pain of the tragedy."
Nechirvan Barzani stressed that the Kurdistan Region will always support the Yezidi Kurds.
The Summer Forty Feast is one of the Yezidis’ holidays that they celebrate for a period of 3 days. It begins on the 11th of July according to the eastern calendar, and the feast is preceded by a forty-day fast. This fast is not considered obligatory for all Yezidis, except for the clergy, as it is obligatory for them.

أصدر رئيس حكومة إقليم كوردستان مسرور بارزاني، اليوم الخميس 3 آب 2023، بياناً بمناسبة الذكرى التاسعة للإبادة الجماعية التي ارتكبها إرهابيو داعش بحق الإيزيديين في منطقة سنجار ومحيطها، مشدداً على ضرورة تنفيذ اتفاق سنجار من أجل إعادة البناء، وعودة النازحين إلى ديارهم.
وفيما يلي نص البيان:
قبل تسع سنوات، تعرّضت سنجار وضواحيها لهجوم وحشي اقترفه إرهابيو داعش، وأسفر ذلك عن إبادة وفقدان وتشريد الآلاف من سكنة المنطقة.
وفي هذه الذكرى المؤلمة، نحيّي بإجلال وإكبار جميع ضحايا هذه الإبادة، كما نثمّن عالياً صمود وتضحيات قوات بيشمركة كوردستان بقيادة فخامة الرئيس مسعود بارزاني، التي حطّمت ودحرت بأيديها أسطورة إرهابيي داعش، وحرّرت سنجار، مسطّرة بذلك ملحمة تاريخية.
وفي الوقت الذي نشيد فيه بكافة الدول التي اعترفت رسمياً بجرائم إرهابيي داعش ضد الكورد الإيزيديين وصنفتها إبادةً جماعيةً، فإننا نتطلع إلى دور المجتمع الدولي في دعمنا للتخفيف من آلام أخواتنا وإخواننا الإيزيديين ومعاناتهم.
وما يؤسف له هنا، أنه وبعد تسع سنوات على الفاجعة، لم تُطبّع الأوضاع في سنجار إلى الآن، في حين تعجز أخواتنا وإخواننا الإيزيديون عن العودة إلى مساكنهم، بالإضافة إلى تعطّل عملية إعادة الإعمار نتيجة سيطرة الميليشيات والمجاميع المسلحة غير القانونية وفرض نفسها على المنطقة.
وإذ نجدد، في هذه المناسبة، دعمنا للمطالب المشروعة لأخواتنا وإخواننا الإيزيديين مع وجوب إنهاء الوضع غير الطبيعي الذي تعيشه المدينة، فإننا نؤكد على تنفيذ اتفاق سنجار، بما يشمل إخراج القوات غير القانونية من أجل إعادة بناء المنطقة بمساعدة من الحكومة الاتحادية والمجتمع الدولي، وإعادة زمام سلطتها إلى أهلها الأصليين.
ننحني احتراماً وتعظيماً لشهداء الإبادة الجماعية في سنجار وعموم شهداء كوردستان.

أصدر الرئيس مسعود بارزاني، اليوم الخميس 3 آب 2023، بياناً بمناسبة الذكرى التاسعة للإبادة الجماعية التي ارتكبها إرهابيو داعش بحق الإيزيديين في شنكال ومحيطها.
وفيما يلي نص البيان:
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
تسع سنوات مرت على مأساة سنجار ، للأسف، ولم تلتئم جراح سنجار بعد، بل استمرت المعاناة ونزوح الأخوات والإخوة الإيزيديين.
إنّ الاتفاق بين حكومة إقليم كوردستان والحكومة الإتحادية في العراق على تطبيع الأوضاع في سنجار وعودة النازحين ، هو الحل الأفضل لإنهاء الأسى ومعاناة أهل سنجار. الإ أنّ السؤال الذي يفرض نفسه ؛ هو لماذا لم تتمكن الحكومة العراقية من تنفيذ اتفاق تطبيع الأوضاع في سنجار، وإلى متى ستسمح الحكومة العراقية لتلك القوات والأطراف بمنع تنفيذ اتفاق سنجار؟
وبهذه المناسبة ، ينتظر شعب كوردستان من المجتمع الدولي والدول الأخرى أيضاً الاعتراف رسميًا بالإبادة الجماعية للإيزيديين التي حدثت على يد داعش ، كما فعلت ألمانيا وبريطانيا ، وكذلك الاعتراف رسميًا بالهجوم الكيمياوي والأنفال وجميع الجرائم الأخرى المرتكبة ضد الشعب الكوردستاني.
في الذكرى التاسعة لمأساة سنجار ، نحيي أرواح الشهداء وجميع ضحايا هذه الجريمة ، ونثمن عالياً دور قوات البيشمركة الكوردستانية التي سجلت أروع بطولة في التاريخ، وضحت بالدماء الزكيّة لتحرير جبل سنجار وسنجار وإنتقموا من إرهابيي داعش. .

الديمقراطي الكوردستاني- سوريا يقيم ندوة تنظيمية وسياسية في ناحية بحركة التابعة لمحافظة أربيل
عقدت منظمة محيط هولير للحزب الديمقراطي الكوردستاني - سوريا بإدارة الدكتور عبدالحكيم بشار عضو المكتب السياسي للحزب يوم أمس الأربعاء 2 / 8 / 2023 ندوة تنظيمية وسياسية لأعضاء المجالس المنطقية في ناحية بحركة التابعة لمدينة هولير.
خلال الندوة التي حضرها سرحان حسن, وهيفي وانلي, وحنان سيدو أعضاء اللجنة المركزية للحزب, تحدث الدكتور عبدالحكيم بشار عن الأوضاع التنظيمية وضرورة تفعيل العمل المؤسساتي وتفعيل دور المرأة والطاقات الشبابية، مؤكداً دور الحزب كضرورة قومية وتاريخية للدفاع عن حقوق الشعب الكوردي وتثبيتها في دستور سوريا الجديدة.
