ضحايا مدنيون بقصف للنظام السوري لسيارتين في قرية كباشين بعفرين
في قرى التماس بين النظام السوري والمليشيات الإيرانية ومسلحي PYD من جهة والفصائل المسلحة من جهة أخرى في قرى ناحية شيراوا التابعة لعفرين بكوردستان سوريا, دائما ما يكون المدنيون عرضة للقصف المتبادل, ففي قصفين للنظام السوري لسيارتين في قرية كباشين في ناحية شيراوا, وقع مدنيون ضحايا جراء القصف يوم أمس 4 آب 2023.
وفي التفاصيل, قصف النظام السوري سيارة من نوع فان عائدة لمدنيين يعملون في السوق الهال في مركز مدينة عفرين, أدى إلى إصابة سبعة عمال.
وأفاد مصدر من القرية لـ ARK أن المصابين نقلوا إلى المشفى لتلقي العلاج, وأثناء محاولة إزالة بقايا السيارة المستهدفة, أعاد النظام السوري, قصفا, فقد في القصف الثاني ثلاثة مدنيين لحياتهم بينهم شاب كوردي.
أكد المصدر أن القصف جاء بالصواريخ الحرارية, والمستهدفون مدنيون, كانوا بصدد التوجة إلى العمل في مركز مدينة عفرين.
قرية كباشين من القرى المحاذية للقرى الخاضعة لسيطرة النظام السوري والميليشيات الإيرانية, وبعد سيطرة تركيا والفصائل المسلحة على عفرين, بقيت 12 قرية كوردية تابعة لعفرين تحت سيطرة إدارة ب ي د, والقرى هي محاذية لبلدتي نبل والزهراء.

Russian planes bomb the vicinity of the city of Idlib
ARK News… A number of civilians, Today, Saturday, 5/8/2023, were injured as a result of air raids carried out by Russian warplanes on the city of Idlib, northwestern Syria.
Syrian media channels reported that 4 civilians were injured as a result of the shelling that hit the city’s perimeter, indicating that the numbers could rise.
The Russian bombing comes days after the "Russian Reconciliation Center" at Himeimim base in Latakia countryside claimed that armed factions were preparing to carry out operations targeting Russian patrols in Syria.

Syrians stranded on a Greek island plead for their rescue
ARK News… Syrian asylum-seekers stranded on a Greek island have appealed to international organizations and the relevant authorities to rescue them.
On Friday, August 4, 2023, Arab TV published a video clip that showed a number of women and children in a forest on the Greek island of Hellas, and a man's voice in the background calling for their help.
The man stated that they had been stuck on the island for 15 days, indicating that among them were children, women, the elderly, and heart patients.
He added that they had run out of food and water, and that the Greek border guards refused to let them into Greece, and the Turkish refused to return them to Turkey, from which they left.

أصيب عدد من المدنيين، اليوم السبت ( 5 / 8 / 2023 ) جراء غارات جوية نفذتها طائرات روسية على مدينة إدلب شمال غربي سوريا.
نشرت قنوات إعلامیة سورية إن 4 مدنيين أصيبوا جراء القصف الذي طال محيط المدينة، مشيراً إلى أن الأعداد قابلة للارتفاع.
ويأتي القصف الروسي، بعد أيام من زعم "مركز المصالحة الروسي" في قاعدة حميميم بريف اللاذقية، أن فصائل مسلحة تحضر لتنفيذ عمليات تستهدف الدوريات الروسيّة في سوريا.

US sanctions against the regime are back to their previous state before the earthquake
ARK News… The American Coalition for Syria announced that the US government has officially notified Congress of its response to its demands and its intention not to renew General License No. 23, under which sanctions against the Syrian regime were suspended following the devastating earthquake last February.
Muhammad Ghanem, a member of the American Coalition for Syria, said on his Twitter account: “The US government has officially notified the US Congress of its response to their demands and its intention not to renew General License No. 23, according to which sanctions against the Assad regime were suspended following the earthquake in February, which expires a current on August 8 of the year.”
Ghanem added: Thus, the US sanctions against the regime will return to their previous state, prior to the earthquake.

Pedersen: I conducted in-depth deliberations on the issue of the Syrian detainees and missing persons
ARK News… Geir Pedersen, the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy to Syria, said that he had "in-depth deliberations" on the issue of Syrian detainees and missing persons.
Pedersen explained in a tweet on Twitter: I held in-depth deliberations with the Truth and Justice Charter group, and discussed the latest developments related to arbitrary arrests and missing persons in Syria, and their continuous involvement towards the establishment of the Independent Institution for the Missing.
"I will continue to press for the widespread release of arbitrarily detained individuals, transparent information for families, and access for international humanitarian actors to all places of detention," the UN envoy said.

لويد أوستن: القوات الأمريكية باتت في خطر
حذّر وزير الدفاع الأمريكي لويد أوستن، من أنّ قوات بلاده باتت في خطر، وذلك على خلفية تنحي قائد الجيش مؤخراً، تاركاً القوتين القتالتين الميدانيتين للجيش بدون قائدين مصدقين من مجلس الشيوخ.
وقال أوستن، إن فشل مجلس الشيوخ في تأكيد تعيين القائدين الجديدين للسلاحين يعطل الجيش، ويُمكن أن يؤثر ذلك على العلاقات مع الحلفاء والشركاء في جميع أنحاء العالم.
كما حذّر وزير الدفاع الأمريكي، من الإخفاق في المصادقة على كبار القادة الذين يرتدون الزي الرسمي والمؤهلين بشكل كبير يقوض الاستعداد العسكري، كما يقوض احتفاظ الولايات المتحدة ببعض أفضل ضباطها، بالإضافة إلى قلب حياة الكثير من أزواجهم وأطفالهم وأحبابهم.
وتابع، إن واشنطن تُطالب بإجراءات سريعة ومنظمة للقادة العسكريين المعينين قائلاً: الفرق الرائعة تحتاج لقادة رائعين.

The Syrian regime forces the displaced in Suwayda to pay 1 million SP to return to their homes
ARK News… The Syrian regime's militias have turned the people of an area of 12 villages in the northeastern countryside of Suwayda into an investment project resembling a hotel by blackmailing them and forcing them to pay royalties, in return for allowing them to stay in their homes and obtain basic services.
Suwayda 24 Network said that in light of the deteriorating living conditions, the Military Intelligence detachment in Shahba, along with some officers of the Syrian regime's militia, impose unfair royalties on the residents of the villages of the Asfar region, in exchange for obtaining water and residing in their area.
It added that the security services imposed strict measures on the displaced who wished to return to their homes from which they were expelled, and the Syrian regime's militias seized many homes and made them military points, evacuating some of them at the beginning of this year.
According to the source, the Syrian regime’s militia requires the returning family to present a “sacrifice,” that is, a sheep’s head, to the officer in charge of the sector, and another “sacrifice” to the officer in charge of the water well, as only 3 wells operate in the area, and each well is responsible for one of the officers.
The matter does not stop at this point, as the Military Intelligence detachment in Shahba obliges the villagers to pay sums of money ranging between 500 thousand and one million Syrian pounds, for every 6 months of residence.
Whoever fails to pay exposes himself to charges of supporting terrorists, arms smuggling, and any charge that the officials of the Military Security Detachment can think of.

هيثم رحمة يطالب بعدم الفصل بين جرائم روسيا التي ارتكبتها في كل من أوكرانيا وسوريا
عبر الأمين العام للائتلاف الوطني السوري هيثم رحمة، عن شكره لأوكرانيا على الدعم السياسي المتواصل، وعن تضامن السوريين الكامل مع أوكرانيا وشعبها الذي يتعرض للغزو الروسي ، وأشاد بمواقف الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي الذي أكد أن “المجتمع الدولي أخطأ في عدم التوحد حول المأساة السورية”.
وقال رحمة إنه من الضروري محاسبة النظام السوري وروسيا والميليشيات الإيرانية على جرائم الحرب التي ارتكبوها، وطالب بعدم الفصل بين جرائم روسيا التي ارتكبتها في كل من أوكرانيا وسوريا، إذ استخدمت في كلتا الحالتين أسلحة محرمة دولياً ضد مدنيين أبرياء، مستعينة بميليشيات من جنسيات مختلفة.
ونبه إلى أن تقاعس المجتمع الدولي في إيقاف آلة القتل التي يرعاها النظام السور وروسيا والميليشيات الإيرانية تسبب بمزيد من الدماء والتهجير والاعتقال والمآسي الإنسانية العديدة، إضافة إلى تدمير المدن والبنى التحتية والمرافق والمراكز الخدمية، إذ لم ينج أي شيء من الوحشية التي تعاملوا بها مع الشعب السوري، وتتكرر الآن مع الشعب الأوكراني حيث تتعرض المدن الأوكرانية لسياسية الأرض المحروقة ذاتها التي تعرضت لها سوريا.
وحذر الأمين العام من استمرار المماطلة الدولية في ردع روسيا وحلفائها بشكل حاسم، لأن ذلك سيؤدي إلى استمرار الجرائم واحتمالية نشوب حروب جديدة في مناطق مختلفة وزعزعة وانتهاك الأمن والسلم الدوليين، وطالب بالعمل بشكل فعال لكبح جماح روسيا في أوكرانيا، وإخراجها من سورية وتطبيق القرارات الدولية وتحقيق الانتقال السياسي وفق 2254 لتمكين السوريين من إعادة بناء سوريا بكفاءة أبنائها.

Suwayda... The spread of the liver virus among the people of a town and its neighboring villages
ARK News… Suwayda governorate recorded "unprecedented numbers" of hepatitis A cases during the past few days, in light of suspected contamination of drinking water by sewage in several villages in the governorate.
Suwayda 24 Network said, quoting local medical sources, that the injuries were concentrated in the Salkhad area and its neighboring villages, in the south of the governorate.
The sources added, "The number of patients is unprecedented, and there are daily cases recorded in the town of Arman and the city of Salkhad," and it is likely that the reason for the increase in infections is "contamination of drinking water and water from wells close to sewage."
