Iran reveals the causes of the Ibrahim Raisi plane crash

ARK News… The Communications Centre of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces issued a preliminary report on the helicopter accident that resulted in the death of the Iranian President, the Foreign Minister, and a number of companions.

The report published by the Iranian News Agency, IRNA, stated that a significant portion of information was collected in various specialized, technical, and general fields that could be related to the accident.

The Iranian General Staff reported that the helicopter actually continued on the planned route and did not deviate from the designated flight path.

It added: “About a minute and a half before the helicopter accident occurred, the pilot of the helicopter that was involved in the accident communicated with the other two helicopters from the aviation group.”

The initial report explained that fire broke out in the crashed helicopter after it hit the ground, and “no traces of bullets or anything similar were observed in the rest of the components of the stricken helicopter.”

It continued: “Due to the complexity of the area, the fog, and the low temperature, the reconnaissance operation extended until nightfall and continued throughout the night, and on Monday morning (5 a.m.), with the help of (Iranian) drones, the exact location of the incident was determined, and the ground forces in charge of the reconnaissance and search operation attended that point.”

In conclusion, the report noted that “a significant portion of documents related to the aforementioned helicopter accident has been collected, and more time is needed to review some parts and documents.
