Domiz... A patient appeals through the ARK Foundation for help
ARK News… Sardar Hussein Al-Youssef, a refugee from Syrian Kurdistan, who suffers from a chronic illness and resides in the Domiz refugee camp in the Kurdistan Region, appeals for help and assistance.
Sardar al-Youssef, the breadwinner for a family of seven, was born in 1977 in the village of Dakshuriye, in the city of Qamishlo. He suffered from lung fibrosis a year and a half ago.
In a video interview with ARK, Sardar said that his family, relatives, and neighbors helped him bear the costs of medicines, and that he needed to undergo an operation outside the Kurdistan Region.
He appealed through ARK, President Masoud Barzani, the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region, the Barzani Charity Foundation and international organizations to lend a hand and help him to receive treatment.
