Derik … Kidnapping ARK correspondent by PYD militants

ARK News: An armed group belonging to the Democratic Union Party (PYD) arrested Ahmad Sufi a correspondent of the ARK Media Foundation and a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria (PDK-S), yesterday on 22/10/2018 and they took him to an unknown destination.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria (PDK-S) issued a statement condemning and denouncing the arrest of a member of PDK-S, stressing that such practices will not discourage them, but will increase their determination and steadfastness on the Kurdish approach.

Today 22/10/2018, at 1:30 pm, a group of PYD militants kidnapped the comrade, Ahmed Sufi from the Bana Qasir-Derik road, where he was driving his own car with two of his brothers and they took him to an unknown destination.

Note that the Comrade, Ahmad was abducted by the same group and in the same place for days and for a few hours.

The comrade, Ahmed is Known for his calm, reputation and his balanced political and media struggle.

We, in the Dasht Organization, condemn and denounce these terrorist practices against the strugglers of our people, which serve only the enemies of our people and against all calls and efforts to unite the Kurdish attitude and row. We also affirm that these practices will not discourage our determination, but will increase our insistence and perseverance on the Kurdish approach.
