ARK News… The so-called Abu Amsha, the leader of the Sultan Suleiman Shah militia, "Al-Amshat", seized a number of houses owned by Kurdish civilians in Shiye town in the Afrin region in Syrian Kurdistan.

Special source from Shiye town reported ARK News that the militia members of Sultan Suleiman Shah al-Amshat, led by Muhammad al-Jassim “Abu Amsha”, since March 2018, seized the house of a Kurdish citizen, Haji Mustafa Daghli, in Shiye and forced its owner to reside in Afrin, demanding $15,000 from him in exchange for evacuating his house. Upon the death of his father, Mustafa Husse Daghli, he attended the funeral, and his father imposed on him a sum of one thousand dollars.

The same source added that Al-Amshat elements also took over Hamid Muhammad Daghli’s house in the Shikaka neighborhood in Shiye town, forcing Hamid to reside in the city of Afrin since March 2018. When he resided in Afrin, Al-Villat Street, armed elements seized four shops in the vicinity of his house, and he often tried to file a complaint with the Committee for the Response of Grievances and Rights Response, but to no avail.

Despite the passage of three years of the Turkish invasion of the Afrin region and its town and villages, the creative and overwhelming chaos has become almost daily, and the kidnapping processes, seizing Kurdish homes and properties are still continued by armed militias and groups especially Abu Amsha in Shiye town and its villages.
