ARK News: A human rights organization in Afrin said that an elderly Kurdish woman was severely tortured by the Al Nukhba militia in the village of Shekhoutka of Mabata township.

The Human Rights Organization in Afrin said: More than a year ago, the armed elements of the Al Nukhba faction controlling the village of Amara of Mabata township kidnapped the citizen Azima Mannan Rasho, 50 years old, from the village of Shekhoutka in the same area, on 05/23/2019 and released her after forcing her of paying the ransom.

The organization added: They kidnapped her again about two months ago (early June 2020) and brutally tortured and beat her, which led to suspiciously deteriorating health, and then released her.

The Human Rights Organization in Afrin held Turkey and the armed militia members, the "Free Syrian National Army" of the Syrian Interim Government and the National Coalition, the responsibility for any consequences or emergency such as a health disability in her body or loss of life.
