Gire Lage… The local council holds its regular meeting in its new office

ARK News: The local council in Girke Lage held a meeting of the Kurdish National Council in Syria in its regular meeting in its new office, which opened on Thursday, July 9, 2020, in the presence of all members of the council.

Initially, a minute of silence was observed on the lives of the martyrs of the Kurds and Kurdistan, after which the work schedule will be approved by the members present, where the focus was on the organizational situation and the distribution of tasks.

The head of the local council, Khalil Othman, touched on the political situation, the results of the recent meeting of the General Secretariat of the Kurdish National Council and the latest developments on negotiations between the Kurdish National Council and the Kurdish National Unity Parties, noting the understanding that has taken place between them, with American sponsorship and support from the Kurdish leader Masoud Barzani.

He pointed to the need to unify the speech of the Council in increasing the Kurdish-Kurdish rapprochement, and make more efforts to unify the political discourse to install the Kurdish rights in the new constitution of the country.
