Erbil Records 26 New Cases of COVID-19

ARK News.. Twenty-six more people tested positive for the new coronavirus in Erbil on Sunday, Kurdistan Region’s Health Ministry confirmed.

Seven cases are from central Erbil and the remaining are from different districts and sub districts of Erbil province, according to a statement by the ministry.

Kurdistan Region is now witnessing a rapid deterioration pertaining to the coronavirus tally.

Earlier the day, authorities confirmed that six people had died of the novel virus in Sulaimaniyah on Sunday alone, the largest number of deaths in one day since the outbreak of the disease in Kurdistan.
