Huge fires devour the bushes surrounding the villages of Chulaka and Kharza in rural Afrin

ARK News: Last night, huge fires broke out in the bushes surrounding the village of Chulaka in Jenderes town and the village of Kharza Mabata town, where they gutted so far large tracts of woodlands and olive groves, the fires are still burning without extinguishing them, these fires have recently been deliberately repeated to include most of the Kurd's mountains in Afrin region Kurdistan of Syria.
“Pro- Turkish army armed groups deliberately set fire to the bushes surrounding the village of Chulaka and the range of the fires extended to the forests of Kharza village in the densely forested of Mabata town to devour more forest trees and fields of olive trees, firer are still burning up this morning without the intervention of Turkish army and armed groups to extinguish them, a special source reported from the Jenderes town to ARK News.”
"The residents have not been able to extinguish the heavy fire because of its widespread and the presence of dry grasses, which extended to large areas of the forest and the olive trees, where the fires consumed large number trees of villagers," according to the source.
“Armed groups deliberately set fires not only in the mountains and orchards of those villages but deliberately set on fires in the mountains of the towns of Rajo, Bulbul, Shara and Sheikh Al-Hadid (Shiye), those fires remained burning for several days until they were extinguished by the residents and with the help of the fire teams of the Local Councils in those towns”, according to a special source from Efrin city.
It is noteworthy that there is certain information by some people that some armed groups deliberately set fire to the forest, thus the outbreak of fires in these vital areas is more than a question point and its repetition is to say that there are hidden hands behind these acts to destroy the infrastructure of the region and to fight the Kurds to their lives. Citizens in those villages and towns appealed to Humanitarian Organizations and the Turkish authorities to investigate and identify the perpetrators and hold them accountable and put an end to these reprisals against the Kurdish people in Afrin.
