ARK News: Russian troops are currently stationed in the village of Dikke, west of the town of Amouda, about a kilometer from the city.

According to local sources: Russian troops were stationed at the agricultural airport in the village of "Dikke", and in the former training center of the military police business school in Amouda.

Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper revealed the aim of the deployment of Russian troops in the city of Amouda, where it said that the aim is to monitor the deployment of Syrian regime forces on the border, the withdrawal of the SDF to a depth of 30 kilometers south, and to protect the Kurds from the Turkish army.
