Putin: "Our relations with the Kurdish people have always been good, but historically, very good"

ARK News: The Russian President, Vladimir Putin, on Friday, November 29, 2019, confirmed that the Kurds in Syrian Kurdistan are dealing well and good with the Russian military police in the region.

"I would like to stress that our relations with the Kurdish people have always been good, but historically, very good," Putin said at a meeting of the National Relations Council in Nalchik.

Putin added by saying: "What is happening now in Syria, and the limited positive results that have been achieved on the Syrian-Turkish border is taking place with the support of the Kurds and in their interest, and the people there understand that and treat us friendly and loving.”

The Russian president also added by saying: "The Russian military police received very good treatment by the Kurdish population because people see that the Russian army was presented to protect them and this is an obvious fact."
