A delegation from the Senate to Nechirvan Barzani: Washington views the Kurdistan Region as an important ally

ARK News… On Saturday, May 4, 2024, the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, received a delegation from the US Senate, which included Senators Johnny Erntz and Ted Budd and a number of their entourage.

During the meeting, the development of US relations with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, the problems of Erbil and Baghdad, dialogue in order to resolve the outstanding problems between them, and the general situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region were discussed.
