Jeffrey arrives in Ankara to discuss Syrian file with Turkish officials
ARK News: The US special envoy to Syria, James Jeffrey, arrived in the Turkish capital of Ankara to discuss with the Turkish officials on the Syrian file.
The State Department said in a statement that Jeffrey, currently in Turkey, and he is scheduled to meet with Turkish officials on the Syrian issue on July 22-23.
He added that the US official who arrived in Ankara at the invitation of Turkish officials, he will discuss with Turkish officials "the legitimate security concerns of Ankara, and the implementation of the UN Security Council resolutions on finding solutions to the Syrian crisis, and to ensure the survival of defeat of Da’esh permanently."
