ARK News: During the campaign which carried out by Al-Shamiya Front on Sunday, June 30, 2019, in the center of Mabata and its villages such as Qantare village and Husse villages, they carried out inhuman practices against the Kurds in the area, they dragged a number of elderly villagers on the ground and insulted and tortured some of them the flimsy pretexts.

Activist Mustapha Sheikho during his participation in the ARK bulletin on Sunday said that brutal practices were instigated during the campaign in the area of Mabata, the Al-Shamiya Front militias tortured and dragged citizens on the ground, including elderly people, tortured women and children, and due to the severity of the scene, a woman was aborted in the town. The campaign was not only that, but they also raided a mosque in Husse village and kidnapped two of the prayers while they were in the mosque.

Sheikho also said that the campaign targeted more than 80 people, some of whom were later released and the health status of some of those tortured was embarrassing and treated in hospitals.

On the launch of an RPG on the headquarters of AL- Shamiya Front in the village of Qantare, the activist Mustafa Sheikho said that the subject of the launch of an RPG missile by the PYD was only a play to carry out the campaign in the abduction of Kurds to reduce the return of people to their villages, especially after the intention of a large number of families to return to their villages from the areas of Aleppo and its countryside.

Since the domination of Turkey and the armed factions on Afrin region, the violations against the Kurds continue from killing, torturing, kidnapping and extortion financially and changing the demography of the region, and nothing is on the horizon as the series of abuses will end or the situation will get worse day after day.
