Lebanese General Security closes hundreds of institutions affiliated with Syrian refugees and cancels sponsorships for them
ARK News… Lebanese Public Security continues to take measures against Syrians in Lebanon, as hundreds of institutions affiliated with refugees have been closed, and sponsorships for Syrians in Lebanon have been cancelled.
Lebanese media said that in the past few hours, Lebanese General Security closed more than 500 institutions affiliated with Syrian refugees throughout Lebanon.
The media added that Lebanese security arrested more than 460 Syrians in the last two months for violating the residency and entry system into Lebanon, and about 450 of them were deported to Syria.
In a related context, General Security decided to stop granting residency to family members of any Syrian who obtained a residency under sponsorship from a Lebanese citizen.
