ARK News: About seven years ago, a Kurdish citizen from the Kurdish region of Afrin was kidnapped on a Syrian roadblock on the main road between the provinces of Homs and Damascus, and despite the passage of this period of his abduction, but his fate is still unknown and no information about him so far.

Idris Sheikh Ahmed was exposed to kidnapping, he was while practicing his work in the trade between the provinces at one of the checkpoints of the Syrian regime in Homs Damascus Road in the eighth month of 2012, and despite continuous attempts by his family to reveal his fate, but all the attempts have failed.

Idris Sheikh Ahmed from the village of Sheikh of Rajo town who was living in Afrin city center Ashrafiya neighborhood, married with 4 children.

Amin Sheikh Ahmed, the father of Idris, appealed to the humanitarian, charitable and related organizations to intervene to reveal the fate of his son, who has been kidnapped for nearly seven years.

With the beginning of the war in Syria, tens of thousands of Kurdish and Arab civilians were kidnapped by the Syrian regime and other parties and thousands have also been killed in secret prisons and thousands have been subjected to torture, torture and other horrific methods.
