Domiz... A patient appeals through the ARK Foundation for help
ARK News… Sardar Hussein Al-Youssef, a refugee from Syrian Kurdistan, who suffers from a chronic illness and resides in the Domiz refugee camp in the Kurdistan Region, appeals for help and assistance.
Sardar al-Youssef, the breadwinner for a family of seven, was born in 1977 in the village of Dakshuriye, in the city of Qamishlo. He suffered from lung fibrosis a year and a half ago.
In a video interview with ARK, Sardar said that his family, relatives, and neighbors helped him bear the costs of medicines, and that he needed to undergo an operation outside the Kurdistan Region.
He appealed through ARK, President Masoud Barzani, the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region, the Barzani Charity Foundation and international organizations to lend a hand and help him to receive treatment.

Presidents Nechirvan Barzani and Ilham Aliyev stress the importance of opening an Azerbaijani Consulate General in the Kurdistan Region
ARK News… After his arrival on an official visit to the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, His Excellency the President of the Kurdistan Region, Mr. Nechirvan Barzani, today, Tuesday, July 18, 2023, was received with a warm welcome by His Excellency the President of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, in the Republican Palace.
In a friendly bilateral meeting, the two sides stressed the strengthening of Azerbaijan's relations with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in all fields, especially in the fields of economy, trade, tourism and energy. The two sides discussed investment opportunities and operating the capitals of Azerbaijani companies in the Kurdistan Region and the whole of Iraq.
In this context, the importance of opening an Azerbaijani Consulate General in the Kurdistan Region, which had been decided to open earlier, was emphasized. Procedures for opening it in the near future and work to strengthen relations and joint cooperation between the two sides were discussed.
It also discussed the latest procedures and steps to operate direct flights between Erbil and Baku and between Baku and Baghdad and other regions of Iraq and to provide facilities for granting travel visas and exchanging visits and delegations between the two sides.
After that, in another meeting attended by the delegations of the two sides and in which the Chargé affairs of the Iraqi Embassy in Baku participated, channels of communication and follow-up procedures for the axes addressed in the meeting of the two presidents were discussed in order to consolidate relations, and the necessary decisions were taken in this regard.

سردار اليوسف المعيل لعائلة مكونة من سبعة أشخاص، من مواليد 1977 قرية دكشورية التابعة لمدينة قامشلو، أصيب بمرض تليف الرئة منذ سنة ونصف.
وفي لقاء مصور مع ARK قال سردار إن الأهل والأقرباء والجيران ساعدوه في تحمل تكاليف الأدوية وإنه يحتاج لإجراء عملية خارج إقليم كوردستان.
وناشد عبر ARK ، الرئيس مسعود بارزاني ورئاسة إقليم كوردستان ومؤسسة بارزاني الخيرية والمنظمات الدولية بتقديم يد العون ومساعدته في تلقي العلاج.

The President of the Kurdistan Region arrives in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku

Norway... The Kurdish National Council participates in a symposium of the Norwegian Labor Party

The French Defense Minister visits the Kurdistan Region to discuss issues related to stability in the region

الرئيسان نيجيرفان بارزاني وإلهام علييف يؤكدان على أهمية افتتاح قنصلية عامة أذربيجانية بإقليم كوردستان
بعد وصوله في زيارة رسمية إلى العاصمة الأذربيجانية، باكو، استقبل فخامة رئيس إقليم كوردستان السيد نيجيرفان بارزاني، ظهر اليوم الثلاثاء 18 تموز 2023، بحفاوة من قبل فخامة الرئيس الأذربيجاني السيد إلهام علييف، وذلك في القصر الجمهوري.
وفي اجتماع ثنائي ودي، أكد الجانبان على تعزيز علاقات أذربيجان مع العراق وإقليم كوردستان في المجالات كافة، وخاصة في مجالات الاقتصاد والتجارة والسياحة والطاقة، وبحث الجانبان فرص الاستثمار وتشغيل رؤوس أموال الشركات الأذربيجانية في إقليم كوردستان وعموم العراق.
في هذا السياق، جرى التأكيد على أهمية افتتاح قنصلية عامة أذربيجانية بإقليم كوردستان، والتي كان قد تقرر افتتاحها في وقت سابق، وبحثت إجراءات افتتاحها في المستقبل القريب والعمل على تعزيز العلاقات والتعاون المشترك بين الجانبين.

نفوق 55 حوتا بعد جنوحها على شاطئ في اسكتلندا
نفقت مجموعة من خمسة وخمسين حوتا بعدما عثر عليها عندما جرفتها المياه إلى أحد شواطئ اسكتلندا في أسوأ حادث جنوح لحيتان في المنطقة، حسبما أفاد خبراء بحريون يوم الإثنين.
تم استدعاء عناصر الإنقاذ البحري وخفر السواحل والشرطة إلى شاطئ "تراي مور" على جزيرة لويس في شمال غرب اسكتلندا، إثر تلقي تقارير أفادت بأن عشرات الثدييات تواجه صعوبات في المنطقة منذ وقت مبكر من الأحد.
وعثرت منظمة الانقاذ البحري "بريتش دايفرز مارين لايف ريسكيو" غير الربحية على خمسة عشر حوتا فقط على قيد الحياة - خليط من الحيتان البالغة والصغيرة- وحاولت إعادة تعويم اثنين من الحيتان كانا أكثر حيوية في منطقة عميقة من المياه.
لكن بحلول ظهر الأحد، قررت فرق الإنقاذ ضرورة التخلص من الحيتان المتبقية لأسباب تتعلق بإمكانية بقائها حية، بعد النظر في ظروف الشاطئ الضحل والأمواج القاسية وطول فترة بقائها خارج الماء.
وقالت المنظمة الخيرية إن سرب الحيتان ربما تبع أنثى إلى الشاطئ عندما كانت تواجه مشكلات في الولادة.
وأضافت في بيان: "يشتهر هذا النوع من الحيتان، المسمى الحيتان الطيارة، بالروابط الاجتماعية القوية التي تجمع بين أفراده، وفي كثير من الأحيان عندما يواجه أحد الحيتان صعوبة ويجنح، يتبعه باقي (السرب). إنها نتيجة محزنة لهذه المجموعة، وبالطبع ليست النتيجة التي كنا نأمل جميعا في تحقيقها".
سيبدأ الخبراء في إجراء أعمال التشريح لتحديد سبب نفوق الحيتان.
وقال أندرو براونلو، من مؤسسة "سكوتيش مارين أنيمال ستراندينغ سكيم" الاسكتلندية المعنية برصد وتسجيل حالات جنوح الثدييات البحرية والحيتان، إنها ستكون "مهمة ضخمة".
وأوضح لهيئة الإذاعة البريطانية "بي.بي.سي.": "من حيث عدد الحيوانات، هذا هو أكبر جنوح سجلناه".
وأضاف أن الخبراء سيأخذون عينات وبيانات بعض الحيتان، وسيتم نقل الجثث إلى مكب نفايات ودفنها بعد استكمال عملية التشريح.

ألمانيا.. محاكمة عصابة متهمة بتهريب 64 سورياً إلى ألمانيا خلال عامين
تم استهداف عصابة التهريب في ألمانيا وبلجيكا وهولندا والدنمارك على مدار عامين، حتى اعتقالهم في عام 2022، بحسب ما ذكرت صحيفة "بيلد" الألمانية.
وكشفت الصحيفة أن عناصر العصابة أحضروا بشكل غير قانوني 64 من مواطنيهم من سوريا إلى أوروبا الغربية. لقد جمعوا ما يقرب من 250000 يورو في المجموع.
وتنقل الصحيفة عن قاعة المحكمة حيث يجلس (يونس.أ) (41)، والعامل بمصنع زجاج السيارات (أحمد .ب) (29) ، والعامل الكهربائي (شيخ .ب) (29) الآن أمام محكمة المقاطعة في "ميونيخ" بتهمة التهريب الجماعي للأجانب.
ووفقاً للصحيفة لقد طوروا تعريفة تهريب لخدماتهم، يعتمد ذلك على الشروط: سيرًا على الأقدام والسيارة، فقط بالسيارة، فوق أو تحت الأرض عبر سياج حدودي، وعبور نهر. كان من المقرر أن يتم دفع 3700 إلى 5500 يورو لكل شخص. خلال طريقهم: تركيا واليونان وصربيا والمجر والنمسا.

The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government appoints a new representative for the region in America
ARK News… the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, on Monday, July 17, 2023, appointed Tarifa Aziz, the new representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government to the United States.
The new actress is the successor to the former actress, Bayan Sami Abdel Rahman, according to what was announced by a statement from the Prime Minister's Office.
Tarifa Aziz previously held the position of senior advisor to the prime minister. Prior to that, she graduated over 25 years in various positions in the public and private sectors in the United States. She also represented the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Washington during the 1990s.
