نحو 8 مليون شخص مصابون بالأمراض النفسية في اليمن
تعد الأمراض النفسية من أكثر الأمراض شيوعا في اليمن خلال السنوات الأخيرة، التي تشهد حربا مستمرة للعام التاسع على التوالي.
بحسب منظمة الصحة العالمية فإن نحو ثمانية مليون يمني مصابون بالأمراض والمشكلات النفسية والعقلية التي زاد انتشارها نتيجة تداعيات الصراع.
قال الدكتور عادل ملهي وهو طبيب أمراض نفسية: من كثر تفكير الشخص قد يصاب بحالة من الاكتئاب، وإذا كانت الضغوط أكثر من اللازم، ودرجة التحمل عنده بسيطة، قد ينتج عنها انهيار عصبي أو إصابة بأمراض خطيرة، أو تؤدي به إلى الانتحار ليخلص من هموم الحياة".
تعد الأمراض النفسية من أكثر الحالات شيوعا في اليمن، خاصة خلال الفترة الأخيرة، وما يزيد من القلق تجاه الأمر هو ضعف اهتمام القطاع الحكومي وندرة تدخلات المنظمات الإنسانية في هذا الجانب.

ذكر المصدر أن الوزير القطري آل ثاني ناقش مع الصفدي الدور العربي في جهود التوصل لحل سياسي للأزمة السورية "وفق منهجية الخطوة مقابل خطوة وبما ينسجم مع قرار مجلس الأمن 2254".
وأضاف أن الطرفان "أكدا ضرورة تنفيذ بيان عمّان، واتخاذ خطوات عملية ملموسة لمعالجة تبعات الأزمة الإنسانية والأمنية والسياسية من أجل إنهاء هذه الأزمة وما سببته من معاناة للشعب السوري، وتهديدات لأمن المنطقة، وبما في ذلك تهريب المخدرات".

محكمة العدل الدولية تؤجل إجراءات دعوى هولندا وكندا ضد النظام السوري
آرك نيوز.. أعلنت محكمة العدل الدولية، أمس السبت 15 تموز 2023، تأجيل إجراءات دعوى هولندا وكندا ضد النظام السوري، بتهم ارتكاب جرائم تعذيب بحق السوريين.
وقالت المحكمة في بيان إن الجهاز القضائي الرئيسي قرر تأجيل جلسات الاستماع العامة التي كان من المقرر افتتاحها يوم الأربعاء 19 من تموز 2023 إلى 10 و11 من تشرين الأول 2023.
ورفعت كندا وهولندا في حزيران الماضي، دعوى مشتركة ضد النظام السوري في محكمة العدل الدولية، بتهم ارتكاب جرائم تعذيب بحق السوريين، فضلاً عن "انتهاكات لا حصر لها للقانون الدولي بدءاً من 2011 على أقل تقدير".
وقالت محكمة العدل الدولية، في بيان، إن هولندا وكندا طلبتا مقاضاة النظام السوري أمامها بدعوى ارتكابها جرائم تعذيب.
وأوضحت المحكمة البيان، أن الدولتين قالتا في طلبهما إن النظام السوري "ارتكب انتهاكات لا حصر لها للقانون الدولي بدءاً من 2011 على أقل تقدير"، وطلبتا اتخاذ إجراءات عاجلة لحماية المعرضين لخطر التعذيب.
وأكدت الدولتان، أن هذه الانتهاكات تشمل أيضاً استخدام الأسلحة الكيميائية التي كانت ممارسة بغيضة بشكل خاص لتخويف السكان المدنيين ومعاقبتهم، مما أدى إلى العديد من الوفيات والإصابات والحوادث الشديدة.
