Domiz... The Syrian Kurdistan Writers Union holds a cultural week
ARK News… The cultural week activities was held by the Kurdistan Representative of the Syrian Kurdistan Writers Union began on Wednesday, September 27, in the Domiz refugee camp in Dohuk.
On the first day of the Cultural Week, writer Muhammad Amin Saadoun gave a lecture entitled “A Tour of Daham Abdel Fattah Park,” in which he talked about the works of the Kurdish writer and linguist Daham Abdel Fattah.
The lecture was held at the office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, in the presence of the party leadership, a delegation from the Kurdish Writers Union - Dohuk, and a group of writers, poets, and cultural and social elites.
The Kurdistan Representative Office of the Syrian Kurdistan Writers Union announced the program of its cultural week as follows:
- A lecture by the writer Muhammad Amin Saadoun, Wednesday, September 27, 2023
- A poetry evening by a group of poets, “Omran Muntash, Aland Mazuri, Qereen Ajo, Mustafa Zirari, Azad Farmaz”, Friday, September 29, 2023.

ترامب يكشف عن طريقة كانت ستمنع الحرب في أوكرانيا
زعم الرئيس الأمريكي السابق والمرشح للرئاسة 2024 دونالد ترامب، أنه كان سيمنع الحرب في أوكرانيا عبر تخفيض أسعار النفط.
وفي تصريح أمام حشد من مؤيديه في ميشيغان، قال ترامب: "أسعار النفط كانت ستنخفض للغاية لدرجة أن روسيا لن تتمكن من تحملها... 40 دولارا للبرميل".
كما وعد ترامب بأنه إذا انتخب رئيسا، فإنه سينهي "العولمة الرهيبة" التي تقتل الولايات المتحدة.
وفي وقت سابق، قال ترامب إن أوكرانيا تخسر صراعا كان من الممكن تجنبه مع روسيا، معربا عن ثقته في أن كييف قد توافق في البداية على الاعتراف بخسارة جزء من الأراضي.
كما وعد ترامب بأنه قادر على "وقف إراقة الدماء خلال 24 ساعة" من خلال الاتصال بالرئيسين الروسي فلاديمير بوتين والأوكراني فلاديمير زيلينسكي.
يذكر أن ترامب تغيب عن المناظرة التمهيدية الرئاسية الثانية للحزب الجمهوري، وشارك بدلا من ذلك في احتجاج لعمال صناعة السيارات المضربين.

Three years since the departure of leader Muhammad Amin Abbas
ARK News… Today, Thursday, September 28, 2023, marks the third anniversary of the departure of the leader Muhammad Amin Abbas, member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria.
About the leader Muhammad Amin Abbas:
Muhammad Amin Abbas, member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, was born in 1964 in the village of Qastbpan in the Chil Agha town of Derik, Syrian Kurdistan.
He studied primary school in the village, then moved to the city of Qamishlo to complete his middle and high school studies. Then he studied at the Intermediate Industrial Institute, “Electricity Department,” in the city of Al-Hasakah.

He joined the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria in 1980, and rose through the ranks of the party, becoming a member of the Area Committee for two consecutive terms.
In 2007, he received the honor of being a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, and during the Unification Conference in 2014, he was elected again to the Central Committee.
During his struggle, he was arrested several times by the Syrian regime, and in 2014 he was arrested by PYD militants. Because of the threats he received from them, he sought refuge in the Kurdistan Region, headed to Germany, and then returned to the Kurdistan Region to complete his struggle.
He was responsible for the "Roj Peshmerga" organization of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, and then responsible for the party's Domiz Camp organization, until his death.
The late Muhammad Amin Abbas devoted most of his life to serving the Kurdish cause and the Kurdish approach was the immortal approach of Barzani.
His body was transferred on September 29, 2020, from the Kurdistan Region to Syrian Kurdistan, and was buried in his birthplace in the village of Qastpan in the Jal Agha district.

The nineteenth anniversary of the departure of the national and religious figure Muhammad Mulla Ismail
ARK News… On Wednesday, marked the nineteenth anniversary of the passing of the national and religious figure, Muhammad Mulla Ismail.
Muhammad Mulla Ismail is considered a national and religious figure and a defender of Barzani’s immortal approach and the only one who delivered his sermons in the Kurdish language among the mosque preachers in Syrian Kurdistan. He visited the Kurdistan Region several times and met with President Masoud Barzani.
The deceased followed the events of the glorious September and Gulan liberation revolutions and collected the publications and leaflets of the Kurdistan Democratic Party through the Khabat newspaper (Nidal in the past) and the “Matin” and “Gulan” magazines.
Mullah Ismail died on the twenty-seventh of September 2004 at the age of 52. He was buried in his birthplace in the village of Kalhe in the Derik region, and with his passing, Syrian Kurdistan lost one of the most prominent national and religious figures.

Activist Mustafa Sheikho told ARK: Three types of taxes imposed on Kurdish farmers in Afrin
ARK News… Activist Mustafa Sheikho on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, said that armed factions in the villages and towns of Afrin in Syrian Kurdistan impose three types of taxes on Kurdish farmers, and with the start of the olive season, the crop is being stolen in some villages.
Sheikho said in exclusive statements to ARK that “the local councils set October 15 to begin harvesting olives, but some villages witnessed the theft of the crop, such as the villages of the Mabata and Rajo towns.”
Sheikho continued by saying, “There are three types of taxes imposed on Kurdish farmers, which are as follows:
1- The displaced people in Al-Shahba, as their entire crops and property are seized under the pretext that they are supporters of the PYD administration.
2- Refugees in Turkey, Lebanon, and the Kurdistan Region: 40 percent.
3- 10 percent for farmers in Afrin.”
The activist stressed that "the farmers are suffering a terrible loss, and they are dissatisfied with the situation," appealing to the concerned authorities and parties to intervene and reduce theft and impose taxes.
Afrin is a region famous for agriculture. It includes the city center, seven town, 365 villages, and dozens of small farms. It has more than 18 million olive trees, both fruitful and non-fruitful, in addition to many other crops such as pomegranates and other types of fruits. Since Turkey's armed factions invaded the region on March 18, 2018, the Kurds have been subjected to terrible violations, such as arbitrary arrests, seizures, and other violations.

Hundreds of victims in a fire that broke out in an event hall in Mosul
ARK News… Hundreds of people were killed in a fire that broke out late on Tuesday night, September 26, 2023, inside Al-Haytham Events Hall in the Al-Hamdaniya area, east of Mosul.
Nineveh Governor Najm al-Jubouri announced that at least 114 people were killed and about 200 were injured as a result of the Al- Hamdaniya fire.
The Iraqi Minister of Health, Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, directed the ministry’s departments in Nineveh Governorate and its neighboring departments to be mobilized to aid and treat the injured and provide them with health care.
In this regard, Ministry spokesman Saif Al-Badr said, “Support has arrived from all neighboring governorates and the Kurdistan Region to the Nineveh Health Department.”
Hospitals in the Kurdistan Region received about 50 injured victims of the fire. Three of the injured are undergoing observation in the intensive care rooms at Lalav Hospital, and the rest are undergoing treatment at Erbil Emergency Hospital.

An increase in the prices of meat and chicken in the cities and towns of Syrian Kurdistan
ARK News… The markets of Syrian Kurdistan are witnessing a sharp rise in food prices in light of the decline in the value of the Syrian pound against the US dollar and the absence of control over prices by the PYD administration.
A private source from the city of Qamishlo reported to ARK on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, that the price of a kilo of red meat reached 100 thousand Syrian pounds, and a kilo of chicken reached 35 thousand.
The source added that the rise in prices has burdened citizens in light of the complete absence of monitoring.
The PYD administration had decided to raise the price of diesel by 400 percent, which angered the citizens and prompted them to take to the streets and hold protest demonstrations, demanding the cancellation of the decision.
In continuation of the protests against the decision, a demonstration is also scheduled to take place this afternoon in the city of Qamishlo.
Citizens in the cities of Syrian Kurdistan, which are under the control of the PYD administration, complain about the miserable service reality, the successive crises in all areas of life, and the lack of balance between their income sources and prices.

وجه الرئيس مسعود بارزاني، اليوم الخميس 28 أيلول، رسالة تهنئة بمناسبة الذكرى الستين لتأسيس إذاعة صوت "كوردستان"
وقال الرئيس بارزاني: " بمناسبة الذكرى الـ60 لتأسيس إذاعة صوت كوردستان، أهنئ إدارة وطاقم صوت كوردستان وجميع المناضلين الذين كانوا صوت الثورة ونضال شعب كوردستان في المراحل الماضية".
وأضاف: "كان تأسيس إذاعة صوت كوردستان ثورة ونقطة تحول في إيصال الصوت الشرعي لشعبنا، وفي الوقت نفسه أصبح مصدر إلهام ووضوح للثوار والبيشمركة الأبطال والمؤسسات الحزبية، ولجميع شرائح شعب كوردستان، وكان له دور مؤثر في إيصال رسالة الثورة إلى جميع أنحاء كوردستان والمنطقة والعالم".
وأكد الرئيس بارزاني أنه، "سيبقى دور إذاعة صوت كوردستان في مراحل الثورة المختلفة في الاذهان دائماً"، آملاً "أن يستمر الآن في الدفاع عن حقوق شعب كوردستان والحفاظ على الأصالة والثقافة والتعايش المشترك والوطنية بين شعب كوردستان".

دوميز.. اتحاد كتاب كوردستان سوريا يقيم أسبوعا ثقافيا
انطلقت أمس الأربعاء، 27 أيلول، في مخيم دوميز للاجئين بدهوك، فعاليات الأسبوع الثقافي الذي تقيمه ممثلية كوردستان لاتحاد كتاب كوردستان سوريا.
في اليوم الأول من الأسبوع الثقافي، ألقى الكاتب محمد أمين سعدون محاضرة بعنوان "جولة في حديقة دحام عبد الفتاح"، وتحدث فيها عن أعمال الكاتب واللغوي الكوردي دحام عبد الفتاح.
أقيمت المحاضرة في مكتب الحزب الديمقراطي الكوردستاني – سوريا، بحضور قيادة الحزب ووفد من اتحاد أدباء الكورد - دهوك، ومجموعة من الكتّاب والشعراء والنخب الثقافية والاجتماعية.
وكانت ممثلية كوردستان لاتحاد كتاب كوردستان سوريا، أعلنت برنامج أسبوعها الثقافي كالآتي:
