Piskov: The Kremlin is watching with interest in the process of the US withdrawal from Syria
ARK News: Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Piskov said that the Kremlin is watching and following with interest the development of the United States' position on withdrawing its forces from Syria and analyzing the situation.
Piskov told reporters, "we have not understood yet what is going to the talk. You know that the statements launched at the beginning, and now there are new amendments."
He continued, "sometimes we hear different statements from different bodies, so we are watching carefully and accurately how the US position on this issue evolves and we are currently analyzing the statements."
The Trump announced, on last December 19 / December, the decision to withdraw his country's troops from Syria under the pretext of achieving victory over the organization of "Da’esh", banned in Russia and many other countries, but without specifying a timetable.
US officials have estimated the process of the withdrawal from Syria could continue until next March or April.
