Israeli Forces Advance into al-Samadaniyah al-Sharqiyah Village in Northern Quneitra Countryside
ARK News.. An Israeli military force advanced into the village of al-Samadaniyah al-Sharqiyah in the northern countryside of Quneitra in southwestern Syria, where it set up a military checkpoint on the main road and began inspecting passersby and checking their identification documents.
According to Syria's state-run SANA news agency, the Israeli force deployed in the village on Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, amid heightened security measures. No reports of clashes or arrests had emerged at the time of publication.
In recent weeks, Israeli forces have carried out repeated incursions into villages and towns across the Quneitra countryside, accompanied by the establishment of temporary checkpoints, search operations, drone overflights, and shelling that targeted several areas.
