Al-Sharaa Welcomes Agreement Between Ministry of Communications and Kuwait's Zain Group
ARK News.. Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa received Bader al-Kharafi, Vice Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer of Zain Group, along with the accompanying delegation, at the People's Palace in Damascus.
President al-Sharaa welcomed the agreement signed between the Syrian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and Zain Group, which paves the way for the company's entry into the Syrian market. He said the agreement would contribute to the development of the telecommunications sector and strengthen Syria's digital infrastructure.
The meeting was attended by the minister of foreign affairs and expatriates; the minister of communications and information technology; as well as a number of relevant Syrian officials.
