U.S. State Department Grants Consular Accreditation to the Syrian Embassy in Washington
ARK News.. Syrian Consul at the Syrian Embassy in Washington, Ahmad al-Malati, held a meeting with officials from the Bureau of Consular Affairs and the Office of the Legal Adviser at the U.S. Department of State.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the meeting discussed the legal and procedural aspects related to the resumption of consular services, as well as mechanisms for authenticating and verifying official documents.
SANA reported that the meeting concluded with the U.S. Department of State granting consular accreditation to the Syrian Embassy in Washington, paving the way for the resumption of consular services in accordance with established regulations and procedures.
