Syrian Civil Defense Responds to 181 Fires and 19 Traffic Accidents Across Syria
ARK News.. The Syrian Civil Defense announced that it responded to 181 fires and 19 traffic accidents across Syria, resulting in one fatality and 24 injuries.
In a statement published through its official platforms on Saturday, June 6, 2026, the Syrian Civil Defense, operating under the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management, said its teams responded on Friday to 181 fires, including 45 fires in fields and agricultural crops, and 136 separate incidents involving homes, commercial shops, grasslands, trees, waste, and electrical wires.
The civil defense added that the fires resulted in one death and injuries to nine civilians.
It also reported that its teams responded to 19 traffic accidents, which left 15 civilians injured.
