KDUP Congratulates Mohammed Ismail on His Appointment as President of the KNC

ARK News.. A delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria (KDP-S) and the Kurdistan Democratic Unity Party (KDUP) met to discuss the latest developments in Syria and the region.

During the meeting, the Kurdistan Democratic Unity Party delegation extended its congratulations to Mohammed Ismail on his recent appointment as President of the Kurdish National Council (KNC) in Syria.

On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, a delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Unity Party, led by Fasla Youssef, visited the headquarters of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria in the city of Qamishlo, Syrian Kurdistan.

The delegation was received by Mohammed Ismail, Secretary of the KDP-S, along with several members of the party’s Political Bureau and Central Committee.

During the meeting, Fasla Youssef, on behalf of her party, congratulated Mohammed Ismail on assuming the presidency of the Kurdish National Council in Syria.

For his part, Mohammed Ismail spoke about the current situation in the region and the transformations following the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria.
